We used Sarah’s home for the filming of interviews for a network show. She was incredibly responsive and flexible with some last minute changes. The house is in a central location (nearby food, Apple store, FedEx, Target, etc.), so if any needs come up during filming it’s easy to problem solve. The house was quiet, clean, and we had access to plenty of parking. I’d be happy to book again and strongly recommend this location.

Tips on How to Organize Filming Events in Marina

To have a successful filming event in Marina, CA, it is important to plan and organize the event properly. Here are essential tips to ensure that your filming project runs smoothly:

  • Research local filming laws and regulations: Marina has unique rules and regulations for filming, so it's important to research them ahead of time. Be sure to check what permits or licenses you need to avoid any potential legal issues.
  • Secure locations early: Since Marina is a popular filming spot, finding the perfect location can take time and involve some competition with other filmmakers. Start scouting locations and securing them as soon as possible so you’re not left scrambling last minute.
  • Create a detailed timeline: A reasonable timeline will help keep everyone on task and ensure all tasks get done before shooting starts. Break down each step of the shooting process into manageable chunks and assign deadlines so no stone is left unturned.
  • Get the right equipment: The proper equipment is essential for any successful filming project in Marina. Be sure to research what pieces of tech you’ll need to acquire before the shoot starts or rent them from local vendors if required.
  • Consider weather conditions: With temperatures often reaching up into triple digits during summer months, it’s important for filmmakers in Marina to plan accordingly when shooting outdoors during warmer times of the year. Have backup plans ready if bad weather unexpectedly arises or heat becomes too much of an issue for cast or crew members to bear comfortably while shooting.
