About Las Vegas
While New York may be the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas is the city that never stops. It is well known for those five-star resorts and casinos, the Las Vegas Strip, and some of the most iconic landmarks anywhere around. When you're not busy being entertained in Las Vegas, you can find plenty of business to be done as well. The city is not just a hub for entertainment, but of commerce and business as well. Whether you're there to plan your next sales conference, bachelorette party, or film the next great blockbuster, there is something for everyone in Las Vegas and more than enough sights to see.
In terms of things to do, there's plenty of entertainment from the casinos with live shows to dance clubs and party venues for every type of music and entertainment you can think of. If that weren't enough, the countryside outside of Las Vegas proper is an outdoorsman's dream. Whether you're an urbanite looking to have fun or an adventurous spirit, there's plenty to see and do in Las Vegas and the surrounding area.
The best way to describe the climate in Las Vegas is to say that it's hot and dry. Even during the winter months, the temperature typically stays in the 70s with lows in the 60s. During the spring and summer months, you will also find that there are zero days of rain. While this can be difficult to bear during the heat of the summer, it does mean that you have plenty of days where it's sunny and you're able to adventure outdoors. If hiking, biking, or sightseeing is your thing, then Las Vegas is the place to do it.
