Our venue is a basement bar with a retro-industrial style that still presents as warm and inviting. It's a long, relatively narrow space with clean lines and corners, accentuated with exposed metal beams, pillars, and a wooden bar top. The walls are a seamless blend of exposed brick, vintage style advertisements, pop art, old stone, reclaimed barn wood, and back-lit repurposed industrial window panes. The back bar display is part of an old carnival ride, and creates a visually striking backdrop for the liquor display which is set on top of an old work bench. The ceiling is a dark gray that disappears when the lights are down, so you don't even see the two types of sound deadening panels. Air ducts are tucked into the corners, keeping the headroom in the main part of the floor as open as possible. It's a timeless look, once you ignore the two flat screen TVs and the jukebox. All of which can be moved or covered for filming. We have two full sized unisex bathrooms that would make a great spot for scene as well as costume changes and make-up. We are a fully functioning bar that is open and serving drinks 7 days a week. The rates that are listed only apply to filming that would take place between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday - Friday, and until 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. If you are interested in doing anything in our space during our normal business hours, custom rates would apply. Thanks for taking the time to consider us as a location and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

The space is a combination used bookstore/ Cafe / Bar all in one medium sized space. It makes for intimate shoots and while small it has vastly different features depending on the angle of the shot: full walls of books one way, a bar counter top another way, intimate window bay cafe seating another, and a charming old NYC exterior. If your production has experience making the most of out of a small space this is an exciting, richly textual and versatile one.

Ponyboy boasts the most popular dance and live music destination in all of Brooklyn. It’s gold rimmed open stage spills out into a wooden dance floor, surrounded by elevated green velvet booths designed by Kim Mupangilai. Centered above the dance floor is a pitched wood ceiling angled toward a large square skylight which provides ample natural light for daytime shoots and classic stereo surround sound. The open kitchen is adorned with a 1950s “Crazy Quilt” rainbow 4x4 inch tile design, inspired by William Porter Tile Company from Hollywood, California with adjacent yellow velvet booths and and two gold rim rounded bars. The ceilings in the bar room are egg white 1930s Bowery tin and match the smooth white walls throughout. The private room is adorned with a hand painted Cherry Blossom tree with wrap around Ocean Breeze blue walls and a long bright pink velvet booth bench. The tables are square white marble, the chairs mid century pink, and accordion windows open to wide to Manhattan Avenue. Once again, the private room offers sincere natural daylight. This location is the new Brooklyn.

Nina is the best host! Very helpful and accommodating. We had an incredible shoot thanks to her and the restaurant set location. This restaurant is huge and a lot of cool areas to shoot/capture. You have access to massive gated parking area. It’s also across the street and close to grocery stores/lowes/restaurants. So can’t think of a better location for production. We were able to capture some beautiful shots here. We were also able to rent the house set attached in the same lot, this worked wonders for a large cast/crew size for wardrobe/makeup/background. Don’t hesitate booking this place!
