The loft is beautiful, clean, and visually stunning. Well furnished with plenty of props etc. Owner was responsive, helpful, and kind. Only minor concern is the neighborhood is a bit sketchy - I wouldn't recommend walking alone at night.

The space was really groovy. Was definitely the vibe and aesthetic I was going for. The host was really kind and let me book an extra hour easily and a bit last minute. The spot has a lot of character and some fun pieces and decorations in it.. so you’d get some nice b roll if you’re filming. It also gives a more lived in feel rather than a staged look so I didn’t have to dress the place for what I was filming (the upstairs kind of reminds me of 80s/90s character Bedroom). It was just me and videographer. Was able to utilize everything, including the cool stairs. There were a lot of mirrors (which I like) and I had continuous shots for the story in POV (so tricky). Lights upstairs are more on the cooler side and it’s one switch with a row of lights that casts like a bright spotlight in certain spots (no dimmer) so I’d recommend bringing 1 light you can manipulate to tone it down against the side with bed and white walls. Downstairs was definitely more warm and sultry. Living room is a little dark. The curtains keep light out too! All in all, if I could do it again I’d bring 1 light, a bounce, and some color filters for fun. But, I didn’t light it (I was shooting a 13 min video in 7hrs). I moved some lamps around, knew where my light was and used it, and shot with Black Magic, and the footage so far looks great. Highly recommend, it was a really fun place to shoot in!

About Private Event Venues

A private event is an occasion that is exclusive and typically smaller than a public one. Such gatherings are often held for special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or corporate events. Well, the importance of such an affair lies in the vibe and privacy it provides. Hosts/planners may appreciate the ability to make an event more personal and intimate for their guests, as well as the flexibility of having fewer people in attendance. Guests adore the sense of exclusivity of being invited to a private gathering where they can mingle with other special individuals in a relaxed atmosphere without feeling overwhelmed by the large crowd at some public events.

People appreciate a private event venue because it contributes to an exclusive setting that encourages conversation, networking, and relaxation without any disruptions from outside sources such as passersby or traffic noise. Hosts also benefit from this in terms of safety — being able to restrict access to the location ensures that only authorized individuals are present at all times. The privacy afforded by a private occasion venue allows guests to relish themselves without feeling embarrassed or on display in front of others which helps generate an amusing vibe where everyone can relax and have fun.

The Best Private Event Venues

Hosting private gatherings can be both a challenge and an opportunity. Discovering the fitting venue to match your needs is the key to ensuring it is a success.

  • Banquet/Conference Hall
A banquet or conference hall is an ideal venue, as it can accommodate large groups of people and provide a variety of services such as catering options, sound systems, AV equipment, and decoration. The facility also offers plenty of space to move around, which makes it great for hosting events like birthday parties, wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, or other special occasions.

  • Outdoor Venue
An outdoor venue provides a unique vibe that can’t be replicated indoors. Whether you choose to host your event in a garden, park, beachside location, or on the rooftop of a building you have access to stunning views and picturesque settings. With the right furniture and decorations, an outdoor venue can be transformed into a superb backdrop for any intimate event.

  • Museum/Historic Building
Adding an element of culture to an event is easy when selecting a museum or historic building as your spot. Not only do these locations typically present lots of space but they also have a wealth of interesting artifacts and displays which may provide some interesting conversation starters among guests. All in all, these buildings provide a sense of wonder and awe that makes any gathering distinctive.

  • Hotel Ballroom/Suite
For those searching for more opulence at their private event then hotel ballrooms or suites are always worth considering. Numerous hotels propose significant discounts when booking out their conveniences for certain affairs so it’s worth inquiring about these options if you’re looking for something more exclusive than other locations available. Guests may also relish complimentary hors d'oeuvres, signature drinks, and expertly selected local wines.

What to Look for in Private Event Venues

From ensuring that your guests feel comfortable and have enough space to mingle to choosing an appropriate ambiance, there are several important factors to think about when selecting a spot.

  • Location
When selecting a venue, consider the location by the needs of your guests. You should assess how easily accessible and convenient it is for transportation, as well as if there is sufficient parking or other alternative means of entry nearby.

  • Capacity
Pay attention to the estimated size of the occasion and make sure that the capacity of the venue matches. You should also contemplate whether the number of guests can be adjusted without compromising quality and comfort for everyone involved.

  • Amenities
Highlighted conveniences, such as furniture, audio/visual equipment, catering service, and technical support staff, should be taken into account. It is also significant to inquire about any additional fees for these services in advance.

  • Atmosphere
Finally, consider the atmosphere of the private event venue. Make sure the decor matches the theme of your event. If not, make plans to change it so that it does. Think about what kind of vibe you want the space to generate for guests and staff.

Private Event Inspiration

Whether it's a small gathering of friends for a birthday party or a large family reunion, there are lots of ways to ensure your event is special. And with careful consideration and planning, you can transform any private occasion into one that will live on in the hearts of your guests.

  • Rooftop Venue
With spectacular views and plenty of space, such a spot is a great location for entertaining and celebrating. Benefits include ample room for seating, access to beautiful landscapes, and a chance to admire the city skyline.

  • Intimate Dinner Party
A dinner party allows for a more intimate setting, where guests can socialize in smaller groups and appreciate delicious food. To make it extra special, create thoughtful menu choices using locally sourced ingredients or hire a caterer to prepare the meal.

  • Outdoor Resort
An outdoor resort offers plenty of activities and resources that can turn any gathering into a mini-vacation. There are usually lots of options ranging from pools to outdoor sports venues and even disc golf courses.

  • Upscale Bar
For those who want something more sophisticated than your typical bar night out, an upscale bar provides quality cocktails made with premium liquors in an atmosphere that encourages conversation. It’s always nice when you don’t have to worry about large crowds or loud music while trying to relax with friends or family members.

  • Art Gallery
A private event in an art gallery adds some culture and style to any celebration, plus it’s great for photos. You can rent out capacities like these around town, which will contribute additional benefits like networking opportunities with local artists or vendors as well as aesthetic adornments for your patrons to enjoy.
