The Well Studios is located in the basement the iconic City Centre Motor Hotel, located in Vancouver, BC. We are a community event space, perfect for intimate events and gatherings, art shows, yoga and dance classes, workshops, pop up markets and more! We look forward to hosting you in our hidden gem. Great space for a party! I hosted a talent show for my birthday for about 30-40 people and everything went really smoothly. Would also recommend adding the bartending service - it made drinks a breeze. On the sound system: They have a small speaker set that works for playing music from a phone or laptop, but we rented a PA system from an external vendor for the event. On the lights: The colorful LED lights included in the space made a really cool vibe! My event was at night so we didn't use the overheads, but there's definitely enough lighting for the space. Would recommend bringing in stage lights if you're looking for something more specific or spotlight-esk. Would definitely rent here again!

We had an awesome time hosting at the Well Studios! We decided to plan an art show for our engagement party, and it turned out better than expected. The space was perfect, and Kirsten was incredibly helpful every step of the way, even stepping in to bartend for us as well. I would highly recommend this space for anyone planning a creative event.

Wonderful cool venue inside an artsy space. Good communication with the owner as well! Very affordable, clean, has tables, places to sit and can also hook up your phone to play your own music while you're setting up decks for a dance party. Can add on a bartender fee for the bar. Only thing is you need to bring your own audio set-up, but at least the venue rental fee is still pretty fair so we can take care of that. Otherwise it was a good experience and had compliments on the venue choice. Would book again!

Had a great time here. We felt really free with whatever party decorations we hanged. We played games with a loud music throughout our party. Host is very responsive. But what I would say is that location is so hidden. It's in the basement suite of the hotel. And the suites all over the place has something going on. The floor and/or the carpet of the unit has a smell. But overall it's decent for its price.

Great space with everything needed to host my birthday party. There was overlap from the booking before mine, but I don’t think that could have been controlled by the host. We did add on a bartender at the request of the host but the bar tender didn’t show. Either way problems were fixed immediately by the host and we had a great night.

Kirsten was so delightful to work with! The venue was perfect for the one man late night sketch show I ran. I was able to set up 40+ chairs, a desk and use a projector to make my vision come to life. Kirsten was extremely helpful with organizing! I was even able to come in for a visit a few days before to get a sense of the layout. This is an amazing space for events. I would highly recommend booking with Kirsten!
