This location is beautiful and the people who operated the space were kind and flexible. We rented it to shot a film recreation scene for school and everything was smooth. The decor in the home has a modern vibe that complimented our production. The space came with chilled waters and poundcake snacks that were yummy. Overall it was a hospitable experience and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to AirBnB or rent a space to impress their company.

We had a great experience shooting at this location. The host was very accommodating to the production needs allowing us to change out the rooms without any hesitation. Beautiful property. If you have more than 10 vehicles/production truck make plans for the non essential vehicles to park by the shopping center and have them transport back to the location.

I could not say enough of good things about this space and about Brittany! She helped us out so much and made the event 10 times cooler than I ever could have imagined.

About Private Parties

The balloons have been inflated, the streamers hung, and the cake baked—now it’s time to party. But before any of the fun can start, there’s a lot of planning to be done. It doesn’t matter whether you’re celebrating a milestone birthday, an anniversary, an engagement, the arrival of a new baby, or even the holidays—the right private party venue can make or break your event.

Many prefer to organize a casual dinner and drink in their favorite restaurant with a full-service bar. Besides treating attendees to tasty local dishes and impeccable services, restaurants don’t require much decor. You also don’t have to rent lighting or sound systems because they typically have AV equipment or live music playing in the background. If you need a bigger area for activities or a place where everyone can move freely, opt for outdoor spaces like parks, gardens, and farms.

Planning an upscale celebration? Take your event to the next level by renting a space in an art gallery or museum. Doing so also allows you to introduce your guests to local culture, art, and history. If your party involves children, an aquarium or a zoo is your best bet. Here, young visitors can get up close and personal with their favorite animals, offering more immersive and memorable experiences.

You’ll want to explore other unique private event venues instead of renting the ones you always use. See if it matches your style and meets your special requirements to bring your dream event to life.

Create Extraordinary Experiences with the Best Private Party Venues

There’s no single private party location that works for everyone. The right space for you will vary depending on what you’re celebrating, who’s coming, and the mood you want for the occasion. But once you have a clear idea of exactly how you want your event to go, you’ll be ready to hunt around for that special space that ticks all the boxes.

  • Loft Spaces
Planning a chic cocktail party, birthday celebration, or corporate event? Check out the bright and airy loft space in your area. With high ceilings, lots of natural light, and a welcoming atmosphere, a loft is a unique event space that encourages guests to mingle, chat, and enjoy themselves.

  • Ballrooms and Banquet Halls
Perhaps, you’re throwing a big family birthday celebration or hosting a company-wide gathering. Many event planners recommend ballrooms and banquet halls. These event spaces have the right decor, equipment, furniture, and layout to suit any occasion. They’re often versatile enough to be tailored to suit your unique requirements.

  • Bars and Pubs
Bars and pubs come in all shapes, sizes, and designs. Some are spacious and airy while others are cozy and intimate. You can also find basement speakeasies and secluded rooftop sanctuaries. In other words, there’s a pub or bar out there to suit just about any occasion. An elegant NYC speakeasy sets the mood just right for an intimate celebration.

  • Patios, Courtyards, and Gardens
There’s something special about an outdoor celebration. From poolside patios and outdoor entertaining areas to hidden courtyards and landscaped gardens, there are myriad outdoor private party spaces to choose from. With natural features and scenic landscape, an outdoor event venue is a preferred setting for birthday parties, intimate weddings, receptions, and other private events.

What to Look for in Private Party Spaces

With many unique and interesting private party venues to choose from, how do you find one that’s right for you? Consider the following factors when deciding where to host your next event:

  • The Atmosphere
The atmosphere at a 21st birthday party will be very different from the vibe at your grandad’s 80th, an anniversary party, or a baby shower. Therefore, secure a private party venue with the right ambiance for your celebration. Decide whether you want your event to be laid-back and casual, grand and opulent, formal and traditional, wild and unruly, or something else entirely before you start comparing spaces.

  • Available Facilities
You’ll want a well-equipped party space with all the essential features for a memorable gathering. These could include a bar, DJ booth or stage, dance floor, comfy seating, private parking, and a PA system. Create a list of everything you need and use it to help you narrow your choices.

  • Convenient Location
Look for party locations that are convenient for your guests to access. Consider travel times and peak-hour traffic, as well as its proximity to public transport. Also, check whether there are shops, bars, or entertainment options nearby for those who want to kick on after your party wraps up.

  • Staff Services
Party planning isn’t an easy feat. But if you’ve partnered with a venue with professional and friendly staff, the experience will be a lot easier. Check the staff services, their availability, how responsive they are to requests, and how willing they are to work with you to realize your vision. From intimate gatherings to corporate events, they’re typically experienced to handle any occasion.

  • The Price
You’ll struggle to enjoy your party if you’ve blown a big stack of money on a venue you can’t afford. Calculate how much you can spend on the event space and stick to your budget—no matter how tempting some gorgeous private dining rooms may be.

Private Party Inspiration: Get Creative

Need a little inspiration to help take your private party to the next level? Sometimes, the perfect space for your event is already within your reach. Here are a few simple but clever ideas to get you started.

  • Glamorous Garden Party
Picture the sun setting over a lush, landscaped garden, a cocktail in one hand and a canape in the other, and a good conversation with your closest friends. When looking for a scenic outdoor space to host your wedding reception or next business meeting, a picturesque garden is the place to be. Set up a marquee or celebrate under the stars for a memorable occasion.

  • Take it to the (Roof)top
Rooftop patios and bars offer seclusion, privacy, and exclusivity. Find yourself a rooftop party venue and get a group of friends together for a chilled and intimate social gathering.

  • Just Dance!
A few drinks, flashing lights, a pumping dance floor, and a DJ ripping killer tunes all night long—what else could you ask for? When you find a nightclub space that gets the atmosphere just right, you’re in for a treat. It’s the ideal setting for a private dance party.

  • Cocktails and Canapes in an Airy Loft
With timber floors, rustic architectural features, natural light, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, loft spaces and sunset cocktail parties are a match made in heaven. This lovingly renovated 1920s loft space in NYC has a funky Bohemian vibe your party guests will love.

Private party venues are no longer limited to traditional settings like banquet halls, restaurants, event centers, bars, and clubs. Think outside the box and consider spaces like a museum, art gallery, rooftop, or warehouse. No matter what you choose, it should be conveniently located, have sufficient facilities, and match your theme, creative vision, and budget.
