About the Space
*Please read for full description and details* The studio is a private and serene space with floor to ceiling windows, numerous plants and industrial building features. The perfect place for photoshoots and intimate gatherings and events! It is a private space on the second floor of a bakery-café-shop. The main floor is home to the retail store and café. Entrance to the second floor is through the shop, or through a large loading bay through the back entrance. The second floor studio has ample open floor space, warm string lights, a lovely private bathroom, seating and lots of plants! We can also easily cater your booking with coffee and lunch orders from our café. We've hosted: Workshops Retail Pop-ups Private Yoga sessions Corporate retreats and meetings Photo/videoshoots Bridal/baby showers Launch events for local brands Intimate Long Table Dinners *** Pricing Structure *** For Wedding Ceremonies, Proposals and Elopements; Private Dinner Parties please enquire For daytime bookings (discounted rates available for full day bookings from 9am - 5pm) up to 8 people = $50/hour - $300/day 9-14 people = $70/hour - $420/day 15-20 people = $85/hour - $510/day 20+ People = $100/hour - $600/day Videography = $100/hour The minimum rental time for our space is 3 hours. Please ensure your total booking time includes your set up and takedown. Bookings past 5:00pm are possible, please reach out for more info and rates. Please note we do not accommodate bookings for late night parties! If you'd like to serve alcohol at your event, this will require an additional charge of $100. Very serene and cozy interior, ideal for moodier photography, No elevator to second floor (that I was aware of), so equipment and props to be brought up flight of stairs. Natural light faces north, so it’s nicely even no matter the weather. Interior is dark (dark floor and ceiling are dark). There’s loads of floor space; feels like ~30-something ft across the windows, and deeper still. One corner has a sitting area, but it’s dark unless you bring lights. Lots of options for lighting. I had a booking right at the time of the café opening below the space (which is how you get into the space). The staff told me if I arrived early next time to just knock and let them know I was renting the space and they’d let me in early to bring everything through the café and up the stairs. Another bonus of renting first thing in the morning: metred parking right in front of the doors is available. I would definitely book the space again for another shoot.

Beautiful space for our shoot. I was hoping to make our shoot like a jungle background and it really worked out with being able to move their gorgeous plants around. Our photographer brought in her own lighting which was needed to brighten the space up. I loved having the cafe downstairs. The venue is gorgeous and all of the responses to my questions were handled with care. George as a point of contact was lovely and so helpful. Thank you for the great shoot!

The space is exactly as pictured. There are stairs from the coffee shop and then stairs too the second floor. There are no full length mirrors, photography props, or cleaning equipment, but trash and recycling provided.

Clear instructions, great crew. Basically has everything we need. Love all the plants, make the place vivid. Kids friendly. Everything is perfect for my daughter’s birthday party.

- Booking time must include set-up and take-down time, early arrivals or late departures will be charged overtime. No smoking No excessive noise No jumping, No dancing No dragging furniture/equipment on the hardwood floor - please lift and carry! If you wish to have alcohol/catering, an extra cleaning/security fee may be required. Garbage must be separated into proper recycling bins: paper/cardboard, cans/bottles/containers. Everything brought in must be removed. Additional fees will be charged for any disposal. Space must be re-set to its original state upon departure and all items brought in must be removed.
