Hourly price is based on guest capacity or crew size* Kensington Studios is a versatile event space located in the heart of Toronto's vibrant Kensington Market. This unique venue, housed in a historic Victorian home, offers a variety of spaces perfect for a range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Our Studios The Light Room: This bright and airy space features high ceilings, large windows, and a built-in bar. It's perfect for receptions, cocktail parties, and other social events. The Dark Room: This more intimate space offers a cozy atmosphere, ideal for meetings, workshops, performances, or dinners. Change the lighting and it's a full on club. The Tiki Room: This unique space features a tropical theme perfect for themed parties, photo shoots, or any event that requires a summer vibes. Cloud Room: located in the basement, featuring a sound sensitive cloud ceiling, coat racks, and make up station. Kensington Studios is an ideal setting for events with a vintage or eclectic vibe. All Bookings Include: Access to all spaces within the Studio Built-in Bar: The Light Room features a fully equipped bar with a 3 sinks, 3 fridges, coolers, microwave, and ice maker. Sound System: The venue is equipped with a sound system to enhance your event's ambiance. System includes 2 EV Subwoofers, 2 EV Speakers, 2 Fender Speakers. Microphones also included! RGB Light Installation: Our customizable tube light installation is sound sensitive and include multiple looks. All lighting is customizable throughout the studio Fog machine and Projector: included in price. Fog has auto timer settings. Bring a usb with mp4 videos or jpeg photos and project your visuals behind the dj booth! Security: security at the door is included in the hourly price for bookings with 40+ guests. 2 security personnels are included for events with 60+ guests. Set your preferred guest check-in with your security staff! Wi-Fi: High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue. Direct Ethernet connection available for live streaming! Restrooms: 2 Clean and well-maintained restrooms are available for guests. Furniture: 7ft dinning table, 5 folding tables (1 6ft, 2 5ft, 2 4ft), 5 bar stools, 6 Director chairs, 4 tall director chairs, 5 arm chairs, 2 benches and more! Heating and cooling available all seasons. Loading parking zone available. Street parking is free after 6pm on Kensington Ave and free after 9pm on Dundas. There is a Parking Garage a block away on St. Andrew with very reasonable rates. Camera equipment rentals, A/V technician, event taping and live-streaming are also available at an additional cost. The unique features within this venue create a versatile setup for events, photo and video shoots, concerts, private functions, pop up stores, small weddings, shows, presentations, workshops, and more. ** A Special Occasions Permit (SOP) is required for all events with alcohol present. Instructions will be sent once booking is approved.**

This place is really something special. I’ve hosted 2 birthdays and multiple other events here and it’s always been a good time. Plus, the pictures look sooo good, so many great photo opportunities!! Rany is very friendly and accommodating. The covered back patio and outdoor tiki bar are such a vibe! The lights are so fun to play around with and are great pictures/videos. And the sound system is bangin! I’d recommend bringing/hiring a DJ! Will come back

Rany was such an accommodating host by always being available to answer questions and to help setup on the day of the event. The bar prices are very reasonable and the bartender is so sweet. The space is perfect for any type of party and if you bring your own DJ decks the setup is really simple. The sound system sounded great throughout the whole venue! The back patio has a roof overtop which came in handy during the rain! I would rent this space again and recommend this spot if you want a fun space with a gracious host!
