Fantastic experience filming at The Honeymoon Inn. Incredible space, provided us with perfect set dressing and the aesthetics we were looking for but with access and movement we would never be able to achieve inside a real house location. Olivia was such a wonderful stage manager and resource. Our entire crew had a great day with great results.

The Honeymoon Inn Film Studio was beyond a dream to film our music video!! Not only are the sets incredible but they have period props on site for use during filming and some surprise sets that aren’t shown in their profile that after we scouted wound up being the icing on the cake to the video concept we had not originally planned on. The location is clean, had a safe/gated parking area and communication with the location coordinator was smooth and efficient. I would highly recommend this location for a shoot!!

About Trailer Park Locations

Trailer parks are ideal locations for hosting a variety of events. Most parks are in rural areas, providing sprawling, scenic views and plenty of space to accommodate large groups. Additionally, trailer parks typically offer amenities such as electric hookups that can be used to power stages, lights, and sound systems for events.

The actual layout of the park is also worth considering when hosting an event there. Some locations feature grassy fields or open spaces that can be cleared for outdoor activities or used to set up tents and seating. Other trailer parks may have designated picnic areas under shade trees or covered patios, making an excellent setting for a smaller gathering or reception.

For those looking to host an overnight event, many trailer parks offer cabins with air-conditioning and basic kitchenettes that make great accommodations for guests and staff. Additionally, some parks may have more luxurious RV sites with private decks, grills, and fire rings, perfect for barbecues or campfire stories.

Specific trailer park locations offer added attractions such as swimming pools, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits which can be included in the festivities of any event hosted at the park. With so many options available, anyone looking to throw an unforgettable party should seriously consider a trailer park location as their venue.

The Best Events for Trailer Park Locations

  • Weddings
A trailer park location can be the perfect place to host a wedding. Depending on the park's size, there could be large or small venues for indoor or outdoor ceremonies and reception areas. Guests can have the opportunity to experience the rustic charm of a trailer park setting with amenities such as hay bales, rustic furniture pieces, and vintage trinkets. Music is an integral part of a wedding, so hosting a band or DJ in one of the larger spaces could create an unforgettable atmosphere for everyone.
  • Corporate Events
Trailer parks make unique spots for corporate events, especially regarding team-building activities. Games such as life-sized chess, tug-of-war, badminton, and pickleball in outdoor areas can help companies build relationships with their team members while having fun under the sun. Indoor spaces offering tables, chairs, and other amenities are available for individual presentations or company gatherings during lunchtime or dinner.
  • Birthday Parties
Celebrating birthdays in trailer parks is a great way to make any special day memorable. Depending on what type of party the host wants to throw (e.g., BBQs, pool parties), there are numerous options for renting out space in trailer parks for these events. Decorations with bright colors, bunting flags, and banners will make sure that everyone enjoys a festive celebration no matter what kind of weather conditions occur outside.
  • Movie Nights
Trailer parks provide excellent locations for movie nights or even drive-in cinemas where guests can watch movies while sitting in their cars parked underneath stars lit up by fairy lights strung from trees and poles around them. Those who prefer staying inside while watching films could rent out bigger spaces like clubhouses equipped with screens and projector systems with comfortable couches and chairs set up according to their needs. Additionally, food trucks can be hired to complete a fabulous night out.

What to Look for in Trailer Park Locations

  • Security & Safety
When choosing a trailer park location, it is critical to consider its security and safety protocols. There should be adequate security staff to help prevent unwanted visitors or activities from taking place during the event. Furthermore, there should also be a system for monitoring guests and ensuring they follow all applicable rules and regulations while attending the event.
  • Accommodations
The trailer park must provide suitable accommodations for guests attending the event. This includes ensuring adequate space for parking vehicles as well as offering amenities such as toilets and showers if needed. Additionally, special arrangements may need to be made for those with disabilities or other needs so that everyone can have a comfortable stay during their visit.
  • Proximity to Other Attractions
The trailer park should be near other attractions guests may want to visit before or after their event. For example, if the party is in a rural area, there should be nearby stores and restaurants for people to grab a bite to eat or purchase souvenirs. Additionally, parks near rivers or lakes can offer beautiful views and activities such as canoeing, fishing, or swimming.
  • Cost
Lastly, it is important to consider how much renting out a trailer park would cost for an event. Different parks may have varying rates depending on the size and amenities offered, so it is essential to compare prices before making a final decision. Additionally, budgeting for additional costs, such as utilities or cleaning services, should be considered when calculating overall expenses associated with the rental agreement.

How to Make Trailer Park Events Better

  • Venue Research: First and foremost, research trailer parks near your desired location to ensure they are suitable for your planned event. Consider factors like size, amenities, and access to transportation.

  • Parking: Make sure the trailer park has adequate parking for all guests and easy access from nearby roads. Provide shuttles to and from the location if parking is limited.

  • Vendors Involvement: Reach out to local businesses and vendors who can provide supplies and services for the event, such as catering, lighting rentals, decorations, music equipment, etc. This will save time and money in the long run.

  • Permits and Documents Required: Seek permission from the trailer park management before doing any event-related activities on their property, such as setting up tents or using amplified sound systems outside.

  • Safety Protocols: Take extra precautions regarding safety - ensure that walkways are well-lit and adequate security personnel are present during the event. Additionally, follow all applicable rules on fire safety regulations related to hosting large events in a trailer park setting.
