Our house is a Mid-Century Ranch in Valley Glen built in 1954 with many windows and doors. It is very open and spacious with a lot of natural light. The kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are very large. The house is 3,000 sq ft on a 13,000 sq ft lot with many mature trees. There is large breezeway with french doors and a Rec Room with a 60-inch TV, ping pong table, pool table, dart board, bar, and theater-type seating. There is a circular driveway with plenty of parking and on well-kept street with unrestricted parking. New laminate wood floors, interior paint and HVAC. Large backyard with newly renovated pool and hot tub. Newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances. We also have one all real wood-paneled seventies bedroom with a door that a lot of productions love because it is so unique. Productions also like shooting at our house because the neighbors are friendly and the ranch house is spread out so the cast and crew is not crowded in with each other.

About Reunions

Reunited and it feels so good! Reunions are special occasions, giving you a chance to reconnect and share memories with people you haven’t seen in years. It could be a family reunion, class reunion, work reunion, or just getting together with friends you’ve lost touch with as your lives have gone their separate ways.

Whatever the case may be, the reunion venue you choose can play a big part in determining whether your event is a success or one to forget. Get it wrong and your reunion could be boring, bland, and something of a disappointment.

But get it right and the years that have passed since you were last together will just melt away. Here’s how to find the perfect space for a magic and memorable reunion.

The Best Reunion Venues

Not all reunion spaces are created equal. The best venues are more than just a place for people to get together — they also offer all the facilities and equipment you need, plus help create the ambiance you want, to make your event a joyous and fun celebration. Here are just a few of the popular reunion locations you might like to consider.

  • Hotel Function Rooms
This may not be the most exciting or interesting venue for a reunion, but it’s certainly one of the most convenient. Function rooms come in varying shapes and sizes, have all the essential furniture and equipment, and can be tailored to suit your needs. Venue staff is also experienced when it comes to managing social events, which can be a big help to ensure that your party runs smoothly.

  • Farms and Acreages
Seeking a little bit of privacy and seclusion to help you reconnect with old friends or long-lost family members? Head off the beaten track a little to find spacious properties that you can keep all to yourself. From acreages surrounded by wilderness to farms and ranches that stretch as far as the eye can see, there are plentiful reunion space options available. With 70 acres of space, abundant wildlife, and a seasonal waterfall, this breathtaking estate is ideal for an intimate and relaxing reunion.

  • Bars and Restaurants
Good food, a few drinks, and a private space to call your own. If that sounds like the perfect setting for your reunion, why not book your own private bar or dining room space? This will help you create the sort of casual, laid-back environment you need to encourage conversations and memories to flow.

  • Parks and Outdoor Spaces
If the weather permits, take your reunion to the great outdoors. From family-friendly picnics in the park to glamorous cocktail parties under the stars, there are outdoor reunion venues to suit a wide variety of events.

What to Look for in Reunion Spaces

Choosing a reunion space is a little more complicated than just finding a room with enough space to fit all your guests. There are several factors you need to take into account to make sure the venue you select is not just perfectly practical, but that it also contributes to creating the ideal atmosphere for some reunion fun. Here are the key factors you need to consider.

  • Size and Layout
The reunion venue you choose needs to have enough space for all your guests, but you also need to be careful not to select a venue that’s too large for your needs and lacking atmosphere. Also consider the layout you need for your event — casual lounge-style seating, a cocktail bar-style setup to encourage mingling, or maybe space for a sit-down dinner before hitting the dancefloor.

  • Ease of Access
The simpler a reunion venue is to get to, the more people will want to attend. Consider how easy a space is to get to via road and public transport, and if some guests are coming from further afield, look for something close to the airport and with suitable accommodation options nearby.

  • Ambiance
Every event space has its own unique vibe, so look for a venue that matches the ambiance you want for your reunion. For example, an intimate private bar might be the perfect setting for a casual class reunion, while you might want a more formal banquet hall or ballroom setting for a work reunion.

  • Practical Inclusions
Now it’s time to think about the essential features you need in a reunion space. Put together a list of needs before deciding if a venue is right for you, such as private parking, easily accessible, AC and heating, furniture and equipment, and staffing. Make sure you know exactly what you need in a venue before you start comparing your options.

  • Venue Staff
Finally, having experienced and helpful staff on your team can help make running an event much less stressful. Look for a venue with staff who are happy to work with you to create the reunion you’ve been dreaming of.

Reunion Inspiration

Having trouble finding the ideal venue for your reunion? Here’s some inspo to help you find that special space.

  • Cruising Back in Time
Take to the water to share your favorite memories with old colleagues, friends, or distant family members. Whether you’re on a river, a lake, or the open sea, booking a group cruise is a great way to gather everyone together and reminisce about times past.

  • Living it up in a Loft Event Space
Catching up with old friends? A bright and airy loft space is perfect for a classy cocktail party, a laid-back brunch, or just a meet-and-greet to catch up with old and new work colleagues. Many spaces also offer eye-catching architectural features and can be easily tailored to suit your needs with just a few subtle decorative touches.

  • Boozy Bar Reunion
Sometimes it can take a little while for people to reestablish connections, start chatting, and generally feel comfortable catching up with people they haven’t seen in years. Setting your reunion in a private bar area or lounge space creates a casual and intimate atmosphere that encourages everyone to socialize and leave any standoffishness at the door. This chic Hollywood lounge offers elegance, sophistication, and all the privacy you need.
