This is a truly amazing space! Impressive in size and the decor is phenomenal through out. A mix of retro with modern touches and so much natural light pouring in from the windows on both sides and a large skylight. I'd recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to go back.

About Miami

Most people think of beaches and excellent nightlife when they think about Miami. You might be surprised, however; to know that Miami is the center of finance for not just Florida but for much of the southeast United States. It has the fourth-largest number of major banks in the US and international exchange is one of the major industries in the city. This is also partly due to Miami being one of the largest minority-majority cities in the United States thanks to the population of Cuban Americans.

Miami has an almost tropical climate, being warm year-round and having a ton of sunny days. This excellent weather combined with all the outdoor activities makes it a great place to live and you can always find ways to escape. Just mind the forecast in the summer, because between the heat and the potential for tropical weather it can be rough to deal with sometimes.

Pros and Cons of Reunions in Miami

If you are looking for a reunion location in Miami, you should know all the ups and downs that come with the area. Though there are a lot of great things to check out, Miami has its share of problems too. Here are some of the pros and cons of choosing a reunion location in Miami.

Advantages

  • Food
Those interested in testing their palette, then Miami is certainly the place to do it. You’ll find a mix of Southern food, seafood, and Cuban delicacies that would be the delight of any foodie. You can find a whole range of local and high-end food establishments that will make your mouth water.

  • Taxes
One of the benefits of being in Miami that both residents and visitors can enjoy is that you won’t have to worry about paying state taxes. This will make paying for that reunion a little bit easier. While it won’t fix everything it is a nice bonus when doing business in Miami.

  • Nightlife
If you like having lots to do in the evenings, then Miami is perhaps the most happening city in the state of Florida. There are theater shows, dance clubs, and just about any type of venue or event you can think of.

Disadvantages

  • Heat
Those who are not from southern Florida and have not had time to adapt will notice that one of the most uncomfortable things about Miami is that it gets hot, almost unbearably so during the summer months. It’s important to pay attention to the weather and have a plan for when it gets too hot.

  • Cost of living
While you may not need to pay state taxes in Miami, you’ll quickly find that the base cost of living is much higher than in other cities in the region. This can make renting a reunion space a bit more expensive, as well as paying for some of the amenities that you may need.

  • Traffic
Like most big cities, if you try to drive around in Miami you’re going to have to deal with tons of traffic. The normal traffic is bad enough, but during the busy tourist season is even worse, meaning that drive times are even longer.
