E.T. was filmed on the mountains in our backyard. The highlights of this Ranch like property are definitely the huge mostly flat park-like entertainer's backyard with custom pool and covered patio. huge backyard with tropical trees, beautiful garden hills and a gorgeous mountain view, desert set up in the very back with mountains, cactus, dirt and dry land.
Our gorgeous space is available for family oriented and uplifting projects. To date, our house has served as a backdrop to many Hollywood productions such as TV shows and feature films as well as fashion photoshoots, music videos, web series, cooking shows, student films and commercials. Our clients include Warner Brothers, NBC Universal,, Universal Studios, Disney, Sony Pictures, NYFA, UCLA, and many more independent production companies.

With the appearance of a heritage house, this modern home features intimate work, showroom, meeting, presentation space on its main floor.
The main entrance has a wide padded bench (could seat 2-4 people) with a coat closet and powder room adjacent to it.
The kitchen area features both a white granite top island and a black granite high stool (two chairs) seating area.
The dining area has a built-in covered cupboard / open shelving display area (with lights) available for use. A formal crystals pendant lighting hangs from above. There are french doors access to an west facing outdoor patio with seating (2 high chairs & table, plus 2 lounge chairs). The glass dining table has seats 4.
The sunken floor living room features a high coffered ceiling and large windows facing west with view of downtown Vancouver. There is a convertible 3 part couch that seats approx 5 or more (depending on set up), a natural gas fireplace with a 50” TV on top (connected to an Apple TV & a DVR), one covered cupboard shelf & drawer space available for use on one side, an additional stand alone covered cupboard available for use (upon request) & a large swing chair.
The backyard gazebo, below the outdoor patio also features additional seating for four.
There is a carport for one small car in the back of the house, otherwise there is free public parking along the street. Please advise in advance if the backside carport is needed.
(Not pictured is a den on the main floor, which may be used for storage / hair & makeup setup space - however, there are items there, so it would be shared space).

The original part of the home was built in 1940, with a back extension added in 2016. The 1940s part of the home has original dark hardwood floors and the 2016 back addition has concrete floors. Old and new are blended seamlessly throughout the home.
The home is wired for sound throughout (including the backyard, master bedroom, and master bath) and a phone can be connected to the sound system via bluetooth to play music.
The front garden is manicured with hedges and roses. The back garden is wild and romantic -- a combination of rockscaping, rose bushes, butterfly garden, and other native Texas plants. The backyard is surrounded by mature trees and a fence covered in climbing jasmine, making the backyard feel completely private. The backyard has a long wooden table with bench seating that can comfortably seat 8-10 people. The backyard also has a side deck and grill. The side deck is accessible from the backdoor to the kitchen and sliding glass doors from the master bedroom and hallway into the back addition. The deck also has four deck chairs that fully recline for sunbathing.
The house is equipped with a gourmet, chef's kitchen (four burner Viking range). The kitchen has black cabinetry, a farm house sink, gold finishes, metal and wooden countertops, and a shiplap backsplash. The kitchen is open to the small dining room (with a white round dining table with seating for four) and the formal living room. The living room has a large, gas fireplace that turns on via remote control.
Opposite the living room is a den with a built-in bar, wine fridge, and bookcase, which is used to display a collection of vintage crystal glassware. There is also a TV in this room.
The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as a small office.
The two guest rooms are located next to bathrooms, but the bathrooms are not attached. Guest room 1 is next to a bathroom with a standup shower, tiled in vintage white hexagon tile. The finishes -- like all the finishes in the house --- are gold. Guest room 2 is next to a bathroom with a shower/tub combination with the same white hexagon tile.
The master bedroom looks out onto the back garden through sliding glass doors. There is an on-suite bathroom with a shower and freestanding bathtub. There is a marble, double sink. Again, everything has gold finishes.
There is also a washer and dryer unit off the kitchen, next to the office.
