Great experience! I’m very happy with my booking at Christine’s gym. She was very communicative and made the entire process super smooth. She was available to meet me prior the event for a walkthrough. The gym is spacious, organized, well equipped and clean. Its location is close to freeways, has lots of parking space and right next to a juice bar! I would definitely book again.

About Press Events

When holding a press event, one wants to choose a space where there is ample room for the media and one’s company spokesperson to make important announcements about upcoming events. You may want to host a press event to announce a new product, or to discuss an important upcoming event.

The key to a successful press event involves planning, a strategy, and creative execution. Consider press events held by major companies in the recent past. These events are eye-catching along with the important announcement the company needs to make. You’ll want just the right venue for these purposes.

You’ll also want to be sure to book a press event venue that will attract news media personalities as well as other important figures in your industry. The right press event space will help to garner long-term attention to your product or service, and it will keep your product newsworthy for some time to come.

The Best Press Event Venues

Selecting the proper press venue for your upcoming event can make or break a successful event. Hotels with a conference room offer some of the best places for a press event, but you may also find that a smaller venue offers the same features as a conference room.

  • Hotels
A hotel often offers some type of meeting room that affords you all the space you’ll need for a great press event. Hotels are typically highly accessible, and many of them also provide audio/visual equipment so you don’t have to worry about renting anything for the press event.

  • Restaurants
Restaurants may also have larger spaces that companies use for meeting rooms. If so, you can host a dinner and then make your announcements to the audience. You’ll also likely have tables and chairs provided for the press event.

  • Convention Centers
A convention center is likely to offer adequate space while also offering audio/visual equipment as well as seating and linens for the event. The acoustics in a convention center are usually pleasurable as well.

  • Warehouses
A warehouse makes the ideal press event space. Large and wide open, this type of venue can be made to look any way you want it, especially if you hire a designer or event specialist to set the site up. Often with separate office space, a warehouse offers the smaller rooms for pre-press event meetings and the larger area is perfect for reporters and journalists to meet. Booking a warehouse office and meeting space gives you freedom in how you’d like the press event to appear.

What to Look for in Press Event Spaces

Press conference events require just the right event venue in order to be a success. You’ll want to consider the attendees of your event, the location, and the accessibility of the potential venue. Other considerations regarding the proper press event venue may include the flexibility of the space as well as the price and the potential audio/visual services.

  • Location and Accessibility
The location of a venue, no matter the type of event, is always important. Your attendees are less likely to attend a presser if the location is difficult to access. You’ll need to consider parking as well as the traffic to get to the venue. Experts tend to recommend a press event location that is near a media hub if possible. This ensures that plenty of press members will be present at your event.

  • Venue Size and Space Flexibility
Whether you are looking for a small or large number of attendees, choosing a venue that has a flexible space will ensure that your guests are comfortable during the event. You may need to rearrange the space so that it feels just right for the size of your crowd. A venue with multiple-sized room options will allow you to have this perfect fit as far as the press event location is concerned.

  • Availability of A/V Services
The venue should have a working sound system that you can utilize for the press event; otherwise, you’ll be looking to borrow or rent a system, which could really affect your bottom line. However, choosing a press event space that is already outfitted with updated A/V equipment could save you a great deal of money. Some venues will also have dedicated staff that will run the equipment for your event, all included in the rental price of the venue.

  • Catering Services
You may also want to consider whether the venue offers the option for catering on site. Some companies provide a dinner or at least appetizers on the night of a big announcement. A venue with a kitchen on site is also a great choice for a press conference event. One can invite a small catering crew to come in and prepare a few tasty dishes for attendees at a fraction of the typical cost.

Press Event Inspiration

A press event typically announces big news for a company or perhaps a product launch. You’ll also want to address the who, what, when, where, and why with the press event. Be sure to get the media’s attention, and make sure you have eye-catching visual aids for the announcement as well.

  • Press Event at a Hotel or Party Hall
Hotels and party halls often offer some versatile spaces that are perfect for a press event. You may be able to choose from a number of layouts, and many of them also offer all the equipment and even perhaps furniture you may need to host the perfect presser! Party halls and hotels typically offer great parking, and getting to a large locale is typically quite easy for out-of-town guests.

  • A Conference Room in a Restaurant
A conference room or a meeting room in a restaurant is a great place to hold a press event. Typically, the room already contains plenty of tables and chairs for your attendees, and they normally throw in the use of the linens or a kitchen space if you plan to offer food for your guests. Be sure to ask if the owners provide staging as well as any audio/visual equipment for your press event.

  • Classy Rooftop with a View
If you really want to garner attention for your press event, holding it in a unique location such as a hotel or restaurant rooftop is sure to do the trick! A rooftop can be decorated for a certain look and effect at the presser, plus you may be able to utilize the natural beauty of the area as a backdrop for the event. Attendees will definitely remember this locale as well as the announcement that draws everyone there.
