Get there a 15 min early and start set it up. Nice and quit place, clean and good service. Will back again, fully satisfied with everything they provide. Only one thing Id like to add, they need more wide pictures of all locations at that space, so you can imagine how much space left for your BTS but any way it was enough space for everything. Thanks a lot.

Shannon was great to work with ! She was thorough and detailed with responsive communication. She had a genuine compassion to ensure they did everything to accommodate our project and to make sure we had everything we needed from them for a successful shoot . TJ was on-site and was also great to work with! He was available to answer all of our questions, ensured our awareness of the facility and all the options to use during the project; and didn’t hesitate to help when we needed it! Great team, great service, great experience! Thanks again for contributing to a highly productive and successful shoot! We appreciate you.

Hi! Space was self explanatory, simple to set up and huge! Great for a large scale production. The space was a little dirty, and also the green screen floor was not ideal with lots of scuffs shifts in coloring. Another note everything was an extra cost- but everything was very upfront, with no surprise costs, just had to add on a lot. Overall it suited our needs and timing and there was total ease in checking in, the space managers were incredibly available-and everything we added on was there and available as described!

5 Stars for the base price and the space itself, just a few caveats you should know going in. - The stage is still remote managed. I thought this was just for the pandemic, but it seems I was mistaken. This isn't a terrible issue as they walk you through the opening and closing procedure over the phone and they keep an eye on things with security cameras everywhere. - Because the stage is remote managed, you can only use gear that you've booked ahead of time. The gear is also shared between the two stages, so if you don't reserve something first, it may not be available. - Becvause you have to reserve everything ahead of time, you have to over-reserve because you may not be sure if you'll need a particular item. Thus, you waste some money trying to play it safe so you aren't in trouble on the shoot day. I think there was about $500 worth of stuff we didn't end up needing, but had to pay for just in case. This is different from every other stage I've ever filmed in where you can rent things as needed on the day if you realize you need something. - For the stage price, you can't really complain, but there were a couple of gouges in the white cyc and though we paid to have it painted pristine, it probably needed a patch and another coat of paint or two to reach pristine status. This forced us to shoot around the gouges since we had very little time for Post on this one so fixing additonal things wasn't an option. - In the end, it does start to feel like you're being nickeled and dimed a bit as you pay for things you may not need, are charged a hefty overtime rate ($175/hour for the stage we were in) if you go over your reserved time (whereas most stages only increase the rate if you go over 10 or 12 hours depending on their policy), and pay for the space lights individually (which most stages include when they advertise as being pre-lit). - Parking is okay as you get half of the small lot up front and there's some street parking. That said, we were a small crew and the only shoot there, but the nearby street parking was nearly all taken by the time we started. Plan accordingly. Overall, we'd film here again if a project's budget requires it. As long as you go in knowing all of the above, you can figure out how to best make it work for you.

Great space and host. Standing set was ready for us when we arrived and perfect for our purposes. Stage itself is sound proofed, clean and has AC. Allowed free access to additional grip and lighting gear if we needed it. Nice green room / makeup room. Oktay was super accommodating and chill.

On site manager, Jose, was very kind and helpful. We had an issue with a battery and he was extremely helpful and found us the exact cord we needed to charge it. Very understanding of our technical issues and cleanup time. Amazing space with stunning lighting and outstanding staff. Would absolutely use it again, highly recommended.

About Green Screen Spaces

Green screen spaces, including studios and rooms equipped with a green screen, are highly sought after for photo shoots and production activities where creativity knows no bounds. These specialized environments allow production teams to create any imaginable setting through the magic of chroma key technology. A green screen studio typically features ample natural light to ensure even illumination, a crucial factor in achieving seamless post-production effects.

Additionally, these spaces often come with a dressing room, providing convenience for costume changes or makeup touch-ups during shoots. Those looking to rent a green screen space by the hour appreciate the flexibility and control over the environment, enabling the precise customization of their backdrop. This adaptability makes green screen rooms a premium choice for filmmakers, photographers, and event planners aiming to create uniquely engaging experiences for their audiences.

The Best Green Screen Spaces

The best thing about a green screen is that you can set it up almost everywhere. Of course, the needs for each event are different, and equipment you might need for a video shoot won’t be required for a photo shoot. Considering some options might help you decide on a suitable location.

Professional Video and Photo Studios
You can't go wrong by choosing a professional video and photo studio. Lighting, props, and features like a hair and makeup station are available in most spaces. This allows you to create a space ideally suited to your theme. In Chicago, a multi-set and prop studio is an excellent location for a green screen space.

Homes and Sites
Various green screen sites offer a range of themes. These can be found in some homes and historical sites. Some offer a more historical and unique feeling, which may be just what you need. In other cases, modern-looking homes become the perfect green screen space for a futuristic setting. The Glasshaus, with its garden and studio, is one example of an ideal venue to set up your green screen space.

Outdoor Spaces
Outdoor spaces provide a landscape that could be difficult to replicate within a studio. Factors such as scenery and natural light can greatly improve the quality of your shoots. A green screen venue located in an outdoor setting is great for keeping things looking natural, as the visuals blend in with the natural décor around it.

Hotels
Hotels make a great choice for a green screen room. They have all the amenities you need in one place, such as rooms for the entire crew and nearby restaurants. Usually, hotels have a ballroom with large enough space for a green screen setup. Since the ballroom is typically bare, the team has an opportunity to get creative with designing a properly themed space.

What to Look for in Green Screen Spaces

While there are many choices regarding green screen locations, it’s important to consider the options available for each venue. Researching the right venue will surely be worth it, as everything will go smoothly on the big day.

Accessibility
Easy access to the site is paramount. Look for locations that are not only easy to find but also accommodate the arrival and departure of equipment and personnel without hassle. A site with a straightforward route can save valuable time and reduce logistical headaches.

Amenities
Before choosing a green screen location, it would be wise to look into the venue's features. Things such as air conditioning, lighting options, and a solid Wi-Fi connection can make a vast difference. The pre-lit green screen studio located in Burbank, California, has many features that are sure to suit your requirements. A location that boasts a quiet environment is essential for recording crisp audio. Eliminating background noise is crucial for post-production, saving time and resources in editing.

Safety
The safety of the cast, crew, and visitors should never be compromised. To protect everyone on site, ensure the space complies with all safety standards and protocols.

Cost
Budgeting is crucial in any production, and finding a space that offers competitive rates for what you need is key. Look for options that provide half-day or hourly rents to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Capacity
Ensure the green screen studio or house has the capacity to comfortably fit your crew, equipment, and any on-screen talent. A cramped space can hinder movement and affect the overall quality of the production. The cabinet library studio in New York allows for a maximum of 99 people to occupy the space without any tight fits, and that makes it a contender for a great venue.

Green Screen Inspiration

The venue of your green screen space can determine the outcome of your production. Choosing the right location can make the entire project go smoothly without any delays or problems.

Photo Shoots at a Cabin in the Woods
There is nothing quite like the ambiance surrounding a cabin in the woods. Whether you’re going for a horror theme or a cozy setting, the presence of a cabin and the surrounding greenery is the perfect addition to your shoots. A green screen can either blend the visuals together or create an artistic contrast.

Video Shoots at the Museum
Museums alone can provide the décor and art needed for a video shoot. Their classy and academic atmosphere is sure to inspire your models or artists as well as the staff brought to work on the video shoot. Green screen use can help certain elements to heighten the atmosphere.

Podcast in a Media Studio
A media studio has it all. Depending on the venue you choose, various media interfaces will be available to you, including quality mics and cameras. Having all these is a great way to captivate the attention of your audience.

Filming in a Warehouse
Great for thrillers and horror genres, warehouses are empty spaces that can be modified to fit your needs accordingly. Many warehouses are big enough to accommodate larger props, which may be beneficial for your green screen shoot.

Editing at a Video Studio
Ideal for action shots where you want to make each hit sound and seem as solid as possible, green screens in a video studio allow you to get imaginative and reshoot and edit action scenes as many times as necessary.
