This location was exactly what we were looking for for our video shoot and more. The all-terrains available were great for capturing the shots we needed of a vehicle. The homes on the property were perfect for staging talent, clients, and crew meals. Randy was amazing to work with - extremely accommodating and communicative. All around great experience. Would highly recommend.

About Country Kitchen Locations

The kitchen is commonly known as the heart of a home, and country-style kitchens are perfect for socializing and hosting events that require a warm and cozy vibe. They are designed with rustic elements like wooden furniture, brick fireplaces, and vintage appliances which add to their charm. These kitchens can be found in various locations, from rustic estates in the countryside to charming farmhouses in rolling hills, and can offer an unforgettable experience for event hosts and their guests.

The country kitchen is typically full of character, boasting exposed stone walls, log-burning fireplaces, and traditional accents such as farmhouse tables and wooden beams. Guests will appreciate the inviting atmosphere as well as the details such as unique decor pieces that add a touch of personality to the room. Depending on the location, it can also include modern elements like stainless steel appliances and contemporary furniture pieces. Another detail that many guests would enjoy is trying out recipes with fresh ingredients right from the garden; this makes it seem like you have your very own personal chef. Whether you choose to add some antique touches or keep things traditional with modern appliances, your guests will thoroughly enjoy spending time in this warm and cozy atmosphere.

The Best Events for Country Kitchen Locations

  • Harvest Dinner Party
Celebrate the season’s bounty with a harvest dinner party. A country kitchen is a perfect backdrop to prepare seasonal fruits and vegetables from local farmers' markets. The cozy atmosphere of the kitchen lends itself perfectly to a sit-down dinner with delicious home-cooked dishes like roasted root vegetable medley and squash risotto that will hit all the right notes for a special event. Guests can learn about food sustainability with hands-on demonstrations of food preparation techniques such as pickling or preserving.

  • Barbecue/Picnic
A barbecue or picnic can be the perfect way to gather friends and family for a relaxed, outdoor event. Hosts can cook up classic dishes like hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, and potato salad in the country kitchen. Guests can either bring their own picnic goodies to share or make their own creations on-site. Activities such as horseshoes, corn hole, frisbee tossing, and bocce ball are great accompaniments.

  • Corporate Event
Corporate events offer a unique way to break away from the office and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere while still being productive. A country kitchen would be perfect for such corporate occasions, as it offers an informal setting with plenty of space for people to mingle and work together. Activities could include group cooking classes, hands-on team-building activities, networking sessions, and more.

  • Culinary Workshops
Country kitchens are ideal for hosting culinary workshops that focus on teaching participants how to cook various dishes. During these workshops, participants can learn how to prepare their favorite recipes while also learning new tips and tricks from the host. Participants will have access to all the tools needed to make the meals and gain hands-on experience creating their own meals.

What to Look for in Country Kitchen Locations

  • Ambiance
It's important to consider if you prefer a modern or vintage country kitchen look. The ambiance of the space will greatly affect the overall atmosphere and vibe of the event. Look for features like exposed wooden beams, rustic fireplaces, and large open windows with picturesque views. Consider what kind of lights and furniture you need to achieve the desired feel and get creative with decorating elements like colorful rugs, plants, curtains, or even paintings to make it your own.

  • Space
You'll want to choose a location that allows enough room for your guests to mingle and have fun without being too cramped. Depending on how many people you plan on having at your event, it’s wise to look for kitchens with varying degrees of space such as separate dining areas or extra rooms for activities. Some larger establishments may even offer outdoor seating areas or patios so you can bring your event outside.

  • Practicality
Practicality is key when selecting a country kitchen as your venue, particularly if you plan on having a sit-down dinner. Make sure there is enough oven capacity for all dishes served as well as adequate dishware and cutlery for each guest. The kitchen layout is also crucial – look for islands with built-in countertops or adequate shelving options that allow easy access to everyday items like paper towels, spices, pots & pans, etc.

  • Safety
Be sure to check safety regulations in your venue. Check that the space has proper ventilation systems, up-to-date electrical outlets, and if there are fire extinguishers nearby. If hosting an event on private property make sure that any hazards are taken care of before inviting guests over.

How to Make a Country Kitchen Event Better

  • Utilize the Natural Landscape
Making use of the natural landscape can be a great way to make an event in a country setting successful. Consider setting up outdoor seating to take advantage of the fresh air and natural beauty. If the venue is near water or mountains, consider arranging a view that guests can enjoy while they eat. You can also create interesting food displays utilizing flowers or other elements from nature to give the event a special touch.

  • Choose Authentic Table Settings
Choose table settings that are true to the atmosphere and style of the location used for the activity. This could mean repurposing old barn wood for tables, bringing in vintage dishes, or using clay pots as centerpieces. Other touches such as mason jars filled with wildflowers or lanterns hanging from tree branches will make the space feel inviting and warm.

  • Incorporate Local Cuisine
Serving up local cuisine is one of the best ways to bring people together and create memories at any gathering, especially when held in a country kitchen. Foods such as homemade bread and jams, locally-harvested produce, and organic meats are all excellent choices for serving up memorable meals at an event held in a rural space.

  • Bring In Ample Lighting
Country kitchens may not have adequate lighting options due to their rustic nature. Consider incorporating twinkle lights strung around trees outside or suspending Edison bulbs above tables indoors — both options will give your gathering that extra sparkle. Having plenty of task lighting (such as floor lamps) inside will also help ensure guests have enough light while preparing meals throughout the evening hours.

  • Display Food and Beverages
Create attractive displays for food and beverages using reusable/recyclable materials like wood boards, ceramic platters, baskets, or mason jars for a rustic feel that complements the country theme of your event. Make sure these are placed near enough so that wait staff can easily access them but not too close so as not to overcrowd tables or interfere with foot traffic around the room.
