About the Space

This studio is a welcoming, family & executive-friendly storefront space on a nice street with well appointed professional amenities. The 11 foot ceilings and 1000 sq ft of space are ample for most small scale shoots, from headshots to portraits, branding, fitness, product photography, and more. The south wall is 80% windows, with sheer curtains as well as blackout curtains for relatively good light control. One wall is painted dark for low key and the opposite wall is painted white for high key, or bouncing fill into it. The kitchen allows for food prep if you're shooting food or simply to serve your guests and talent. The bathroom is large and comfortable for wardrobe changes. The surrounding area and street are another great environmental background option for an urban scene. The following is strictly prohibited: - NO pornography - NO Smoking or vaping - NO cannabis use of any kind - NO elicit drug use of any kind - NO alcohol on the premises unless you receive an Ontario Provincial (LCBO) permit for it and provide proof of this to the landlord no less than 48 hours prior to your start time. - NO open flames - Please keep music and sounds reasonable as there are residential tenants upstairs.
