  • What features should I expect in a Las Vegas production space?
Many film production facilities in Las Vegas have additional items and equipment for a flawless shot. They may feature high ceilings for better lighting flexibility, loading docks for easy and convenient equipment access, break rooms, green screens, and sound stages. Discuss your needs with the venue owner or manager to ensure your production requirements are met.
  • Which neighborhoods are recommended for production spaces in Las Vegas?
The Strip takes pride in its famous backdrops and luxurious venues, while Downtown Las Vegas, known for its vibrant arts scene and one-of-a-kind locations, provides dramatic backdrops for film scenes. What an awesome little place! I came here with my photographer girlfriend as a little Christmas present/surprise and she had a blast using all their equipment she doesn’t usually have access to to take a whole ton of cool photos. They were very professional, accommodating, informative, welcoming, and crazy quick to reply. They helped me pull off a really cute idea, which was basically pulling up a Mac Miller concert on our projector and bouncing around to it, since it’s the next closest thing to going to one now that he’s passed. They were 100% down for our unusual use of their space and helped me with all of my planning and questions gladly. All around they killed it. Absolutely would recommend this place if you need a nice little space with a great selection of lighting and tools for a photoshoot. And for the price point? Unbeatable, just bear in mind it’s a 2 hour minimum length for renting the space. Also, make sure you ask for the gate code and the building number before your shoot, because I pulled up and got a bit lost and had to text them on the spot to find the place. Thankfully they replied immediately with all the info I needed! Everything else went 100% smoothly :) Can’t recommend enough!!

Work out where to cut costs.

Finally, work out which expenses are absolutely essential, and which areas are not quite as crucial so you can afford to cut back. For example, can you find a more affordable caterer to free up more cash to spend on high-quality event photography?
