Notes on alcohol permits:
• Special Occasion Permits are available from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (they charge a fee).
• Plan ahead! It could take a few weeks to secure a permit.
• In order to get an SOP for non-private and advertised events, a form must be submitted to the City Clerk's office, and then the city's endorsement needs to be sent to the AGCO. This also takes some time to process. The form can be found here: https://www.toronto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/9678-Municipal-Endorsement-for-Special-Occasion-Permit.pdf
• We require a copy of the approved permit before the event. The Renter is responsible for complying with all provincial and municipal laws, regulations, and bylaws.
