Cute, charming, cozy little white rancher in rural setting with large front yard surrounded by tall coniferous trees and bushes.
Given its rural setting and woodland-type backdrop, my property is very pretty in the spring/summer, and equally as lovely, if not more, in the depth of winter after a snowfall. It would make for a lovely summer-at-the-cabin-in-the-woods themed, cute-little-old-lady-lives-out-in-the-sticks themed or a picturesque winter wonderland themed movie set (seasonal weather permitting of course). Even if my property isn't quite what you're looking for in terms of movie set, as there are many potential venues nearby, I've plenty of parking on my property that can be used for RVs, trailers, boats, ATVs, and all manner of other spare vehicles!
Although my actual house is a small ranch-style building (bungalow), my property is just shy of a quarter of an acre in total and the house is set quite far back from the road, allowing for a decent-sized, open and flat front yard. The yard has a healthy-looking lawn with a long gravel driveway, small front porch and a pebbled patio with an inviting rectangle stone-slab pathway leading to the steps of the porch. It's west-facing so gets plenty of sunshine all year round (seasonal weather permitting of course - I do live in a temperate rainforest after all!). The yard is relatively secluded from the road as well as the neighbors either side by large, tall coniferous trees and bushes. Our Street is a relatively quiet, local neighborhood road, so there's not that much traffic noise. There's public parking opposite and right outside my property.
In terms of my property's actual location: Nestled in a stone’s throw away from the beautiful river and park. My property is a little slice of countryside paradise. However, it's still conveniently connected to the rest of the Lower Mainland. It's also very near to several smaller, secluded rivers and creeks that seem to have remained a local secret, an abundance of trails (horse/hiking) and a nearby local equestrian center. Not forgetting that one of British Columbia’s biggest and best provincial parks (easily the most impressive in Metro Vancouver). Thanks to its vast forest (coastal western Hemlock), very rugged mountainous backcountry and abundance of lakes, rivers and waterfalls, it is 4 kilometers away from a well-know playground for nature enthusiasts, hikers, mountain climbers, campers and horseback riders.
Please note that although you'll be able to have access to my house, it's small so I'm not sure if this will work for you (you're more than welcome to try of course!). Because the front yard is large, and given my property's location and setting, I really feel that it's my actual property as a whole that will work for you!
