Looking for a functions space for your business, large gathering, or a filming space? Located in one of Sydney's most historical suburbs, only a 10 minute drive from Sydney's CBD. Grown to become one of the best venues in Balmain.
If you have an upcoming birthday, engagement or special occasion, we can make your party special. Accommodating small and large groups, the venue provides multiple options for seating and standing functions.
• Prices include a staff member being onsite to troubleshoot.
• Venue can be emptied (full furniture and stock) on request to facilitate bespoke production design. This will incur an add-on fee of $618 per booking.
• We have 3 phase power on site. A charge of $124 per shoot/day will be charged to access this onsite power source.
• We have a burger restaurant onsite next door so we can also take care of catering including vegetarian/vegan - quotation on request.
• We are not open on Monday and Tuesdays so any hiring will be more cost effective on these days.
• The hanging vines in the venue CANNOT be moved or removed under any circumstance.
• We also have access to a larger space on the same site which is a large open chapel style which I will provide some information in the future after we speak to the building.
Terms and conditions
• A deposit of 50% must be paid a minimum of 14 days in advance.
• If deposit is not received a minimum of 14 days prior a 20% surcharge will be applied to the full hiring arrangement.
• Venue hire bookings for within 14 days of filming date a 20% surcharge will be applied to the full hiring arrangement.
• Remainder must be paid 24 hours before entering the venue. If a guarantor is provided we will provide an invoice with a 7 day payment arrangement.
• Hirer/production company must produce a valid public liability insurance of minimum $10 million prior to being allowed to enter the venue.
• Any damage made to the venue will be made good and to the venue owners satisfaction by the hirer within 7 days.
• Any production design changes that include paint/carpentry to the venue must be agreed prior.
• Weather Delays (within 1-2 days of production date:
- 50% of venue deposit will be forfeited for weather delays facilitating a rebook.
- 100% of the of venue deposit will be forfeited if the venue was requested to be emptied.
• Postponements:
- 50% of venue deposit will be forfeited for postponing when advised a minimum of 7 days prior to hire date.
- 100% of venue deposit will be forfeited for postponing when advised under 7 days prior to hire date.
• Cancellations:
- 50% of venue deposit will be forfeited for postponing when advised a minimum of 7 days prior to hire date.
- 100% of venue deposit will be forfeited for postponing when advised under 7 days prior to hire date.
