About the Space

The Venice courtyard, exterior gardens and deck, and bungalow(s) is a charming, bright oasis for those who want to be submerged in the Venice lifestyle but feel like they are surrounded by nature. This haven of trees, bricks, foliage, hummingbirds and light, is nestled in a courtyard consisting of six bungalows, the space is open for use, with distinctive landscaping, front patio, in a tranquil and quiet environment (no cars drive on the walk street). In the back are three reconverted garages that are a creative space that is approximately 20 x 25 feet with vintage wood on the walls, concrete floor used for photo and painting exhibitions, as well as creative and artistic events, and for filming. We have four bikes for recreation trips around Venice and cruising along Marina del Rey, Venice and Santa Monica beaches. One of the bungalows that is available for filming interiors has just been completely remodeled with elegant and unique touches throughout. New appliances, new plumbing and electrical, new fixtures, new paint inside with so many personal touches, but keeping the 1920s architecture and the letter and spirit of these unique bungalows in tact. Real wood floors, large double-paned windows, and so many more charming details complete with new appliances, new countertops, new furniture and a modern decor. Everything is provided make for a fabulous all-inclusive creative experience, filming, or special events or artistic gatherings that will be remembered long after you leave this fabulous Venice oasis. We have natural light flooding in all day long with an outdoor grill and tables on the property as well as in your very own private back yard. Located on a walk-only street with lush landscaping and beautiful foliage you will enjoy the peace and quiet of being surrounded by nature while only being a stone's throw away from some of the best shopping and restaurants in LA. The Neighborhood Venice is most well-known for trendy Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Venice boardwalk, and Venice, Marina and Santa Monica beaches. Add to that eclectic and super cool Main Street, Santa Monica, Lincoln Boulevard and hip Rose Avenue all within walking/biking distance. Venice is truly unique because it has a great blend of rich culture and new chic spots. Since we our located near world famous Hollywood, we try to maintain the authenticity and the uniqueness of Los Angeles with articles, books and photos from the owner's personal film library.
