Million Dollar View of Downtown Los Angeles - A multipurpose natural light studio that offers breathtaking views of DTLA. STUDIO SPECS This studio is a 1,700 sq. ft. space, with west-facing windows. White walls, concrete floors, and 13 feet high ceilings. The space has a little entry room used as green room, and the entire studio space is private for clients to use. AMENITIES Included at no additional cost: - 50 Folding chairs (White) - 3 Six-foot Rectangular Tables (8 people: 3 per side, 2 at ends) - Lounge furniture - Linen Accent Chair (Gray) - Leather Modern Accent Chair (Brown) - Victorian Leaning Chaise (White) - 2 Leather Accent Chairs (Gray) - Wooden Chair with Fur Seat - Wooden Bench - Distressed Wooden Bench - Rattan Daybed - 3 Wood End Tables - Ottoman - Plants - Rugs - Wood Stool - 2 Portable Air Conditioners (16,000 BTU) - JBL Speaker with 1 Wireless Microphone (Available upon request) - White Curtains - Jiffy Steamer - Garment Rack - Mini Refrigerator (3.3 cu. ft.) - WiFi - Commercial Fan - Decorative Items (Skins, throws, plants, candle holders, etc.) Clients are welcome to use everything in the studio, move it, and style it as necessary. We ask that everything be put back to place by the end of the booking. EVENTS (Celebrate/Meet) require a 7-hour minimum booking LIGHT The studio is bright and has unobstructed large west-facing windows that open for fresh air and cool shots. In the morning, the studio has diffused light as the sun is behind the building. In the afternoon, the studio has soft light and harsh sunlight coming through all the windows. WINDOWS The windows are all located on one side of the building. The LA skyline view is the perfect shot that commercial shoots seek to represent LA. The historical windows can be opened, just please be careful. All the studio curtains are white. Curtains are permanently installed and cannot be removed or changed. FLOOR PLAN Download at www.skylinepenthouse.com/suite. The floor plan is also also available as the last picture in the listing. SOUND The space is not sound proof, but it is fairly quiet. Many clients have shot interviews and documentaries with the beautiful city skyline as a background to portray the City of LA. ACCESS Main entry at the street level with two passenger elevators. Freight elevator on the side via the alleyway. Studio is accessed with a 4-digit code that's given after booking. The code only works from the booking start time until the end time. LOCATION Located in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles, this building is on Maple and 12th street. This is a safe area to walk that is full of businesses and people walking during the day. One block away from Santee Alley which is a bustling shopping area to get amazing bargains. FREIGHT ELEVATOR Operates Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm as it is operated by personnel. Additional hours may be arranged at $75 per hour for consecutive hours from the booking start time until the booking end time. LOAD IN-LOAD OUT Feel free to come 15 minutes earlier to load in to the building so you can access the studio on time. SET UP & CLEAN UP Must be accounted for within your booking time.
