This is an awesome space. Brendan, the host, made the booking so flawless and the whole band was happy with Monochrome Studio. Our only regret is that we should have booked for a longer time because, with the set up of the space, there's so much more we could have done with the video shoot, ideas just kept flooding in when we saw the studio.

The studio offers many background offerings, beautiful daylight and equipment to use. This was a nice hidden gem at a great rate. Would definitely recommend. (I would suggest parking in the lot around the corner if you do not have too much luggage)

Welcome to our brand new production studio located just outside the Fashion District downtown, with a dedicated parking lot, large freight elevator, with AC, minimal street noise, and incredible natural light.
A huge south-facing factory style window creates beautiful natural light. Sheer curtains to diffuse the light. Black-out curtains to control for artificial studio lighting.
CYCLORAMA WALL:
Our 3-sided cyclorama wall is included. Located in the interior of the studio away from the window making it easy to control the lighting. THE CYC WALL WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE A FEW MARKS ON IT UNLESS YOU PAY FOR A FRESH COAT OF PAINT PRIOR TO BOOKING (see add-ons).

WINDOW LIGHT:
8 am - 11 am: indirect soft light
11am - 2 pm: direct light on the floor and bright throughout the room
2 pm - Sunset: direct light on the white freight elevator or seamless backdrop paper.

This is such a great space and the host made things super simple. He answered every question I had as soon as I messaged him. ( I messaged a lot ) There is also great lighting that was free and extra for purchase at a very reasonable cost for good quality equipment.
I will definitely be booking the space again!

Incredible space. Be sure to drive around building to front for entrance. Waze sends you to wrong side of building. Lighting. Stands. Seamless cyc wall. Natural light. I got 4 different environments for clients portraits. Could not recommend this place enough.
