About the Space Rent this unique, spacious loft space to make art Last artist live/work space in NY that’s not snooty. If you actually want to make art this is where to come… Flexible creative space, with high ceilings. The space is excellent for theater, music and performance rehearsals, filming screenings, auditions, podcast shows, production holding, and art shows. The loft is on the second floor of an industrial building. It is a storied creative space, where hundreds of films, theatre productions and civic engagement campaigns have been conceptualized, recorded, and performed. That is to say, the space is teeming with creativity, passion, and history for your next project. Second Floor: - Large open room - Small recording booth - Swing - Exposed brick wall - Bathroom - Wood floors, high ceilings and natural light Wifi available. Stairs only, no elevator access. ~20 chairs of assorted size and variety are available upon request. ~ desk available upon request ~ furniture in photo not necessarily always there.

    This place was the PERFECT location for my dystopian hide out in the project I just filmed. The owner/ location managers were very helpful in allowing us to tour the site beforehand and staying in communication throughout our shoot. They have a good bit of old/funky furniture to use for staging as well. Love love love!

    Incredible, versatile space! I used the second floor loft as a basement for my short film and it looked amazing on camera. My crew loved the environment and kept themselves entertained on breaks with the swing in the loft and by observing the graffiti drawings. The only minor complaint I would have is that it’s pretty cold in the loft, it was warmer outside at around 55F, but the host was definitely aware of this as they provided several heat lamps throughout the space :) Thank you for a wonderful experience, I would definitely shoot here again!
