DTLA Music Recording Studio with Skyline View. With a simplified meditative atmosphere and a top floor view of LA, this recording studio is an artist paradise. All you need is a computer to plug in to our HD Smart TV Monitor and Apollo Twin-X or M-Audio Interface. Connected to these interfaces are the well respected 1176LN Compressor and the 2-610 Tube Preamp which add an amazing texture and vintage warmth to the recordings. Along with that we have our classic HS7 Monitors for playback as well as our NS-10 Reference Monitors for Mixing Down to Perfection. For recording, we have our classic AKG C-214 Mic and AKG K553 MKII Recording Headphones.
Our Recording Booth Room is Top of the Line. If You Record at Home, trust me you will hear and feel the difference. Soundproofed to perfection, romantic lighting, along with a lounge chair, footrest and fur carpeting to provide maximum comfort for the artist. Additionally, a window with talkback that allows clear back and forth communication with the engineer/producer.
And let's not forget the toys. First off, we have a percussion basket in the booth that has a number of different shakers, tambourines, woodblocks, etc.
Now let's get to the Hardware. We have the Maschine Studio Beat Pad which is always fun to play, the Newest RD-2000 Roland Keyboard which has endless amounts of sounds and functionalities, and the Vintage Casio Casiotone 405 Electronic Keyboard which is a personal favorite. These toys offer a variety for any genre of music.
There is a refrigerator for storing drinks, a microwave & Ninja Coffee Machine. Additionally, there is an AC Unit, Heater and Blackout Blinds to provide any temperature and lighting needed & a total of 4 beanbag chairs aside from the sofa and seating in the recording room.
FYI: You will need to have or download the UAD Software to plugin to the Apollo, otherwise you can just connect to the M-Audio and operate without downloading the software. Your host will help you out and make sure you are squared away for your session.
