Bright, white architecturally designed studio that has a full wall of north-facing windows and one bank of west-facing windows that overlooks DTLA skyline is perfect for film and photoshoots, workshops, workspace, or meeting space. Designed as a neutral backdrop with a large 12 person conference table, 2 sofa seating area, a bank of 3 desks, and an open wall the 850 sf studio allows both functional and flexible space as needed. We've hosted film crews, product shoots (including a queen size bed), have seamless backdrop rolls, workshops, client meetings, and many photoshoots. This is less a fully blank space and is versatile for someone looking for a beautiful backdrop that they don't have to design and stage themselves. Incredible indirect light creates the most stunning shots almost the entire day, with a stunning skyline view during the day and night. PHOTOGRAPHY RATE $75 per hour (up to 5 people) Any larger productions inquire for custom pricing FILM/VIDEO RATE $75 per hour (up to 5 people) Any larger productions inquire for custom pricing CLEANING Mandatory cleaning fee starts at $75 for small productions. Crews must be respectful of the space and must put furniture back if moved and place trash in trash bin. ***PLEASE READ: STUDIO RULES AND FAQ*** By booking this studio, you are agreeing to comply with all of the rules listed below. Failure to obey may result in forfeiture of the security damage deposit. 1. IMPORTANT Booked hours must include load-in/load-out, set up, and tear-down or 1.5x overtime fees will apply in 30 minute increments. There is no free overtime. 2. MESSAGES Please include the following in your initial message. *Brief summary of your production/event *Total number of cast and crew/guests *Desires date(s) and hours *Any other special needs or questions 3. SCOUTING/VISITS One (1) initial scout/visit may be arranged prior to booking. Additional scouts/visits may be arranged once a booking is approved. All scouts/visits are subject to availability (usually early morning or late afternoon) and are subject to re-scheduling. 4. BOOKED HOURS Posted rates apply to standard business hours which are M-F 8am to 10pm and Sat/Sun 10am-10pm. For productions only, non-business hours are available at double rate plus security personnel at $52.50/hr (weekdays 7am-8am and all other days 10pm-11:30pm). Hours are calculated when the first person arrives and last person leaves. No refunds for any unused time. Booking minimum 2 hours. 5. OVERTIME FEE (IMPORTANT) Additional time is billed at 1.5x the hourly rate, billed in 30 minute increments. Crew/talent/guests, and equipment must be out of the studio by the end of your booked hours to avoid overtime charges. Charges will be deducted from your security damage deposit. 6. PROHIBITED (IMPORTANT) The following items are prohibited: Loud music, feathers, glitter, confetti, sand, wedding rice, flour, paint, aerosol spray cans, fireworks, weapons, small particle items that are difficult to clean, fog machines, hazers, (or anything that could trigger the smoke detectors/fire alarms/fire sprinklers systems -- only misters or water-based fog machines that will not trigger the smoke detectors/fire alarms/fire sprinklers systems are allowed), dance strobe lights, and other items deemed unacceptable by the venue managers (when in doubt, please ask). Drilling holes into the walls, ceiling and doors is prohibited; only 3M command strips allowed.
