About the Space
Click on "SHOW MORE", and scroll to the bottom for a link to videos of our house in films. The rate is $95.00 per hour. We have a minimum of ten hours per day. The first hour of set decoration/tech rehearsal on a non-shoot day is free, then $95.00/hour afterwards. We do not offer discounts and do not book off the website; please don't ask. This is a 1926 Spanish-style West Los Angeles home. We have central air conditioning and heating. It has a lush garden in the front yard, and a spacious backyard of 2,800 square feet. We have an updated circuit breaker box with extra unused slots: all circuits are 20 amps. Inside the garage is a camera studio with a green screen, 3 ring lights, and 4 digital lights. Note to cinematographers: the rooms are small in this small house. Parking: The house comes with space for 2 vehicles in our driveway. Filmmakers must obtain permits for any equipment hauling vehicles or vehicles that will be on camera if they can’t be parked in the driveway. Personal vehicles belonging to cast and crew that can’t be parked in the driveway must be parked at a local parking lot. The cast and crew will need to be shuttled between the location and the parking lot. We are located between Sony Studios and the Fox Studios Lot near Culver City. We require productions filming here to have one million dollars in liability insurance with us and our property as named insureds. We also require productions filming here to have workers’ compensation insurance. If children are working we REQUIRE that a credentialed studio teacher and a parent or legal guardian be on the set at all times that the child/children are on the set. Pleasant experience. Lots of space in the backyard. No issues with moving anything in the house. We moved the desks and computer setups. The hosts have lots of experience with filmmakers shooting in their home. Plus, they're very easy-going folks to work with. The walls are a lovely color and the amount of moving things around is minimal. Love the corrugated windows and details of the house.

Had an amazing 2-days shooting here. Great house with vintage wooden furniture for this price, at this center location in town. Every corner there's beautiful texture and authentic touch of life. Conrad and Ellen are great hosts and helped me a lot during production. There's a backyard and garage large enough for staging equipment or lunch and crafty for crew.
