Our house has been in 30 movies.
Inside the garage is a camera studio with a green screen, 3 ring lights, and 4 digital lights.
The daily rate is $870 a day, up to 12 hours. The first hour of set decoration/tech rehearsal on a non-shoot day is free, then $72.50/hour afterwards. We do not offer discounts and do not book off the website; please don't ask.
This is a 1926 Spanish-style West Los Angeles home.
We have central air conditioning and heating.
It has a lush tropical jungle in the front yard, and a wide-open spacious backyard of 2,800 square feet.
We have an updated circuit breaker box with extra unused slots: all circuits are 20 amps.
Note to cinematographers: the rooms are small in this small house.
Parking:
The house comes with space for 2 vehicles in our driveway.
Filmmakers must obtain permits for any equipment hauling vehicles or vehicles that will be on camera if they can’t be parked in the driveway.
Any personal vehicles belonging to cast and crew that can’t be parked in the driveway must be parked at a local parking lot. The cast and crew will need to be shuttled between the location and the parking lot.
We are conveniently located between Sony Studios and the Fox Studios Lot near Culver City.
We require productions filming here to have one million dollars in liability insurance with us and our property as named insureds. We also require productions filming here to have workers’ compensation insurance.
If children are working we REQUIRE that a credentialed studio teacher and a parent or legal guardian be on the set at all times that the child/children are on the set. This is per California labor law and is non-negotiable.
