This is a beautiful DTLA Historic Core/ Theater District 1920’s Art Deco basement art gallery/ studio creative space. The gallery is 3,100 square feet with near 16 foot high ceiling and beautiful art deco metal rafters. The space has large white walls all around. It has a 14 x 12 foot black stage and projector for video, along with full sound equipment for audio sound if needed. The space is currently interior designed with antique furniture to beautiful artworks around in a minimalist way. The space is flexible with many different looks and areas that offer a variety of options and can be easily setup to meet your needs.
There is a small office kitchen with refrigerator near the two private bathrooms (no shower). A 100 sq foot side room is available that can be used for hair/makeup, dressing room and more. The space had AC, ceiling fans and heating, with ample 110v outlets on separate circuits.
It is available 24/7, with access through the back alley on Lindley Pl for crew and loading. THEW entrances require a flight of steps down to basement. There is NO ELEVATOR so please inform your crew. We’re on a commercial street so noise is not an issue.
We’re happy to accommodate scouting. A walk-through is required before and after all bookings for L&D and insurance is required.
The space has been an on going art gallery for the last 7 years.
