The electrical in the building is a joke. The switches for lights are the same circuit as the outlets so if you turn off a light, your wall outlets wont work. Only 1 maybe 2 wall outlets work in the back room which is a real inconvenience and you will have to run extension cords all across the floor ruining the aesthetic overall. The building was not clean although guests pay a cleaning fee..Showing me Pouneh probably does not pay to clean the space at all after an event.. i found cups, spills on the ground that i had to bring my own mop the day of to clean and the dust was terrible i had to sweep the entire building! Even after paying for a cleaning fee i decided to clean up all my garbage, spills and swept the building. A 250-300$ cleaning fee that should've been used for my garbage pick up. Pouneh without contacting me took my deposit because of garbage left outside the building! My garbage that i cleaned up and paid a cleaning fee for. I put the garbage outside the door all in bags. The host was not quick on responses and never met with me to see the place and discuss anything, he made me meet the super intendant who knows nothing about open space and rental information. Washrooms are located in the back room so if you wanted to have your main event in the bigger room you would have to let your guests into the back room.. poor design choice. Pouneh is not a good nor kind host. He seem's in it for the cash, a young designer like myself was bettering himself and his generation with an influential runway show hoping to have a great experience and ended up having to deal with pettiness. Pouneh also lied about his lock being broken after my time spent there.. there is no way possible i broke the lock.. I simply opened it at the beginning of the day and didn't need to touch it again until locking it back later, in which it locked perfectly and i left. He did not contact me and assumed i broke the lock when i had a very professional party. Very disappointed.
