Welcome to ANOMALY!
Located in the Mount Pleasant community of Vancouver, BC, our studio houses a photography space equipped with 9’ paper photography backdrop, dance mirrors, a stylish living room, kitchen, bathroom and spacious work area. Our studio is full of one of a kind art and decoration, you won’t find anything else like it.
ANOMALY is perfect for photoshoots, dance rehearsals, video shoots, small events, meetings, pop ups, live music events, art shows, and much more.

Studio Amenities Include:
-9’ paper backdrops (Currently black and baby blue)
-8’ dance mirrors
-Comfortable living room area with couches and a bean bag chair
-Kitchenette
-Bathroom
-2 smaller work tables
-Speaker & wifi
Some other stuff:
-Anomaly Studios is not wheelchair accessible at this time due to the presence of stairs leading up to the venue. We understand the importance of providing an inclusive environment and we deeply regret any limitations the building may pose. If you have any specific accessibility concerns or questions, please reach out to us and we can arrange assistance to the best of our abilities.
-Yes, food and drinks are allowed. BYOB is only allowed for parties with less than 30 attendees (must discuss with us first)
-We aim to be a financially accessible venue, especially for the members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, along with artists or people facing significant financial barriers. If you are working within a specific budget, you can let us know and we would love to discuss your options with you.
-There is no reserved parking for the studio, but there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area. We are walking distance from a variety of bus routes, as well as the Olympic Village skytrain station.
-Rental of specialty lighting or sound equipment can be arranged for your event. We do not have any in house, aside from a small bluetooth speaker.
-We may request that you obtain additional event insurance.
-We do not have chairs for seated events/concerts further than the couches shown in the pictures. You are more than welcome to bring your own if needed.
