Josh and his team were so friendly and accommodating - it was an effortless experience renting the loft from them! The loft is a great space for a photo & video shoot. It gets excellent natural lighting + is practically sound-proof. Josh also has rugs + furniture + extra shooting equipment that we were able to borrow which was so helpful. Will rent again if we have an event or shoot in SoHo!

Lighting
Having proper lighting makes all the difference when it comes to video shoots. If you don’t already have the equipment, there are places where you can rent anything you need to set the lighting just right for your shoot. Setting
Film shoots can be done outside, inside, in the water, on a rooftop, wherever your imagination can think up! Getting the setting right will help set the scene, giving more authenticity and believability to the shoot.

Props
Cups, plates, plants, animals, rugs, house facades; whatever you could need to get the setting right, props will help you get there. The actors don’t even need to interact with them if it is not appropriate for the shoot. But it is still essential to a believable video shoot.
