Great location with plenty of rooms to film or store gear in. The location manager was delightful to work with and Michael was quick to respond. The dentist chair rooms were a little small. So you'll have to be okay with a tight squeeze and not a lot of space for lights and audio. However, we were able to get a camera, boom pole, 3 tripods, 1 panel light, a few tube lights, and 3 people in the room we filmed in. So, you can make it work!

Disadvantages

  • The weather
You can beat the weather extremities by choosing an engagement party venue that is well ventilated and includes cooling/heating systems. It's better to choose an indoor venue even during the spring and fall months because the weather is quite unpredictable.

  • It's costly
You'll want to grab any available discount because putting together a cooking class can become a costly affair. Whether you are charging participants or not, keeping everything pocket-friendly will attract more participants.

  • Traffic
If your cooking class is pegged on attendance, you might have a difficult time convincing folks to attend if it means getting caught up in traffic. Choose a convenient cooking class space in New York and also schedule classes when participants are less likely to encounter terrible traffic.

  • The competitive atmosphere
