I rented this space for a sound bath & cacao ceremony on a Sunday afternoon. The communication leading up to the rental was very clear and responsive :) The space is beautiful and well decorated. Very clean. The ability to leave the slide up door ajar for fresh air was really great. I don’t think I’d do this type of event here again as there was alot of noise from the street and neighbors, although if noise is no big deal the space is awesome. I would absolutely book with Melissa again as she was wonderful!!!

I would definitely book the space again! This industrial test kitchen was way more spacious than I expected. There were a few extra lights that made the video quality better, and the kitchen was huge and had a lot of different utensils to use. The staff was very friendly and welcoming too!

First of all, Dylan is such a great host! I asked to visit the place ahead of time, and without hesitation…he said yes! The day of, I asked if I could use some extra space/ chairs, again without hesitation he said yes. I love the space! It was neat and equipped with necessary furnitures to host meetings/ classes. Rest rooms were very clean as well! I give Dylan and his space more than 5 stars if I could! I’ll definitely book with him again!

Great space! The location around the venue ain't too bad either. A couple blocks away you have upscale hotels. There are food joints in the area. The venue itself is great. If you're hosting a workshop here like I did having the windows open helps with the echo in the room otherwise just fill the space with more people.

About Los Angeles, CA

Founded in 1542 by Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, Los Angeles is the hub of the entertainment industry and home to many iconic attractions like the Hollywood Sign and the Walk of Fame. Being right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, it is also a popular beach town, so make sure you pack your swimsuit and sunscreen when visiting the City of Angels.

Do you want to hone your cooking skills or add a hands-on activity to your itinerary? Rent a kitchen space for cooking classes in Los Angeles. Whether you're looking to learn from a professional chef or host an interactive dinner party, Los Angeles has it all.

Interesting Fact: The iconic Hollywood sign used to be an advertisement for a real estate company that said Hollywoodland. However, they did not maintain the sign properly, so the city removed the last four letters and redesigned it.

Cooking Class Options in Los Angeles, CA

When booking a cooking class space in Los Angeles, you need to plan your event well to ensure it is the best it can be. After all, you want your guests to have a fabulous time. Choosing the right venue and planning carefully are crucial to hosting one of the best cooking classes in Los Angeles. Whether you are having it at a restaurant, auditorium, cafeteria, or bungalow in LA, you will need some décor, furniture, and equipment.

Décor
The décor you choose depends on your cooking class venue, the theme, and your personal preference. Are you planning a formal cooking class or a casual backyard barbecue-type gathering? Do you want flowers and balloons or formal crystal and linens with fancy centerpieces? Let a professional take care of it all.

Furniture
You probably won't need additional furniture if your event is held at a well-equipped and fully-furnished restaurant or café. But most cooking class venues in Los Angeles are large open spaces that require additional furniture and you can design to your liking. You may want formal seating and table settings or just the basic tables and chairs with counter space to work at. Many culinary schools in LA offer flexible setups for their hands-on cooking classes.

Equipment
It doesn't matter where you hold your cooking classes—you will need cooking equipment like an oven, stovetops, and small appliances like blenders, food processors, and more. Make sure you have everything you need for the menu you have planned. Let's say your class is making dim sum dumplings. Make sure you have a lot of steamers and rolling pins on hand. Also, there should be enough of each tool to go around. You do not want a small oven for 30 students or one mixer that everyone has to share.

Photography and Videography services
Whether you plan to host virtual classes or in-person ones, consider hiring professionals for photo and video shoots. Professional photographers and videographers will capture your event in the best light. They can also help you best utilize the space in your kitchen by suggesting the best lighting and camera angles.
