About the Space

We are an operating vintage shop by day, book with us from 630pm onwards to host your next event or workshop. We have successfully hosted comedic performances, birthday parties, and acoustic performances. We have had several music videos, photoshoots, and music performances filmed here. We are approximately 1000-1500 sq ft, capacity is about 40-50 guests, we have two functioning washrooms. This venue is NOT licensed for alcohol sales. We are looking to host anything you can think of, although this is an apartment building on the upper levels so no loud hardcore bands or bass heavy discos. This space is perfect for moderate volume performances, or mid sized functions and work shops. During the evenings sound is usually very quiet in the shop, and filming or recording sound should go smoothly after 8-9pm most evenings. There is a restaurant upstairs that hosts private events, so sound recording could be an issue depending on their schedule (ie footsteps, moving chairs). We want to put community first and are open to negotiations for non budgeted community affairs, so long as the respect is mutual. Feel free to inquire and I am happy to answer all your questions!
