This one story midcentury home was built in 1956. Its original owner was Mr. Earl A. Jackson, from the Ability First Company who resided there for nearly 18 years. The front kept its curvy façade with the original metal windows following the property, while the new concrete pad spaced steps lead to the glass front door. A variety of tall grasses and ground cover, compliment the appealing modern look of the home. Inside is an open floor plan, with grey oak flooring throughout, and modern wall paper patterns as accents. The overall color pallet is cool, with soft organic tones. Back inside the house, coming straight up from the entry, is the modern dining room with its sleek furnishings, and a wet bar on the side. A modern kitchen with a state of the art appliances, quartz countertops, a waterfall edge at the island, casual seating at the counter, and soaring ceiling height over the family room. Walls of sliding glass doors open towards the outdoors. There is fluidity and spaciousness throughout. Outdoor kitchen is easily accessed through the dining room, adding to the outdoor entertaining. In 2019, the owners completely re did the entire back yard, landscaped and installed artificial turf. As it happens, a life in So Cal is incomplete without a swimming pool. Lush greenery, dwarf palm trees, and drought tolerant plants, surround the area, while the majestic tall palm trees stand up against the San Gabriel Mountains, completing the priceless views. In 2020, a guest house was added to accommodate the visiting family and friends. It is done in the same minimalistic style, modern, with all the amenities, completely independent unit, that provides privacy while still being close to the family. There is this organic feeling about the entire space, both inside and outside reinforced with stunning views to be enjoyed year round, which defines the life in Southern California.
