Great location - sprawling empty retro house perfect for our purposes. Dirty but that is to be expected. Permitted the street and had a cop and swat vehicle without issue or complaint. Tamar and her husband were super chill and easy to work with.

About Altadena

Southern California is known for glittering big cities, but less well-known places like Altadena have just as much to offer. This unincorporated area is just north of Pasadena, and about half an hour from the heart of Los Angeles. Despite its small size, Altadena has been a popular getaway for Californians for years.

Although it has a small population of right around 45,000, that population has been on a steady decline for the last five years. The small population is a major draw for many people, but some locals worry the decline in residents could eventually negatively impact the community.

While Altadena, California has a pretty high cost of living, it has ranked as one of the best places to live in the western United States. It’s a family-friendly suburban destination that has been revered for a good school system and low crime rates.

The close proximity to Los Angeles means that locals and tourists are still able to take advantage of most amenities found in big cities. With all of the attractions, beaches, and great weather, there is no wonder why so many people choose an Altadena film shoot location.

Film Shoot Location Options in Altadena

Altadena has plenty of options when bringing your film shoot together. Not only do you have everything Altadena and Pasadena have to offer, but you also get services from Los Angeles in this area. Your Altadena film shoot location will be easy to plan, set up, and stock with all the options.

Pros and Cons of Film Shoot Locations in Altadena

Altadena, California has its pros and cons, and so will any location you consider for your next film shoot. It’s always wise to weigh both sides before making a final decision. Make sure you know the ups and downs of the city before finalizing your Altadena film shoot location.
