Excellent experience with this space. Logan was very helpful, communicated quickly and provided a modern/fresh space with high end equipment included for free. Background sound was not an issue. Good location not far from the city, and close to places to eat. Thanks very much!

Ransom was beyond helpful. The space was great, bright and the best props you could need for styling. Ransom also let us use their lighting which was really helpful. The space allowed for so much flexibility, it really was a great space for us.

Cindy was a really gracious host. The home is beautiful, the views are spectacular and it was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had as a producer in 30 years. Highly recommend this property. The parking is the only issue due to 5he narrow streets, but it wasn't a really big issue if you plan for it.

We had an amazing time filming at this location. I would highly recommend this location and Leisa M. While the owner and I had met once before filming, this was my first time to work with her. I was BLOW AWAY by how communicative, welcoming, and easy to work with she and her business partner were. I definitely want to shoot here again!

Disadvantages

  • Travel
The public transportation options aren’t as plentiful in Austin as they could be. You’ll be fairly dependent on private transportation, depending on the location of your film shoot and housing. Luckily, there are plenty of private transportation options to fill this gap.

You won’t be seeking Vitamin D in Austin during the summer. The high temperature for the city is 112-degrees Fahrenheit, not exactly the type of weather you linger outside in. June through August are the hottest months, and the average temperature is 96-degrees.

There’s another downside to the lack of public transportation. Traffic and congestion on the streets in and around Austin can be a nightmare.
