The space was really groovy. Was definitely the vibe and aesthetic I was going for. The host was really kind and let me book an extra hour easily and a bit last minute. The spot has a lot of character and some fun pieces and decorations in it.. so you’d get some nice b roll if you’re filming. It also gives a more lived in feel rather than a staged look so I didn’t have to dress the place for what I was filming (the upstairs kind of reminds me of 80s/90s character Bedroom). It was just me and videographer. Was able to utilize everything, including the cool stairs. There were a lot of mirrors (which I like) and I had continuous shots for the story in POV (so tricky). Lights upstairs are more on the cooler side and it’s one switch with a row of lights that casts like a bright spotlight in certain spots (no dimmer) so I’d recommend bringing 1 light you can manipulate to tone it down against the side with bed and white walls. Downstairs was definitely more warm and sultry. Living room is a little dark. The curtains keep light out too! All in all, if I could do it again I’d bring 1 light, a bounce, and some color filters for fun. But, I didn’t light it (I was shooting a 13 min video in 7hrs). I moved some lamps around, knew where my light was and used it, and shot with Black Magic, and the footage so far looks great. Highly recommend, it was a really fun place to shoot in!

For your safety, all common area surfaces, tables and counters are sanitized before & after every booking. This spacious & dynamic 2-level loft features 22-foot ceilings, beautifully divided by a spiral staircase draped with vivid green hanging houseplants. *All photos that represent the space in the daytime were taken with the natural light the space gets from its large windows. Nighttime photos used the lighting built in to space. Just a few blocks from the following rail stations: -7th St/Metro Ctr (Red, Purple, Blue, Expo lines) -Pershing Square (Red & Purple lines) -A final call sheet must be submitted 24 hours in advance. - Please be sure book for the correct amount of people in your production for insurance purposes. -Please be sure everyone is wearing a mask upon arrival. It is building protocol to wear masks in all common areas. -Please, NO shoes in the space. Shoes should be taken off upon arrival, downtown is gross, inside the space is not :) I understand if you need them for a shot - This is absolutely fine, I provide a shoe-safe cleaner to wipe the bottoms of shoes :) Anyone using the space must wear booties at all times or take shoes off - failure to comply will result in an additional cleaning fee. -No equipment should be placed in the hallway. Every part of your production shall remain INSIDE of the space. Hallways/Stairwells/elevators are common areas - blocking these areas is not fair to other people in the building & is also considered a fire hazard by fire officials. Load in and load out shall be done quickly an efficiently, no clogging common areas of the building. ever. ABSOLUTELY NO GLITTER without approval. Use of glitter will require a sign-out inspection to avoid additional cleaning fees. -No loud music after 10pm. If you are playing music, please be sure it is kept at a respectable volume.
