Vancouver's best rustic and versatile studio space with 2000sq ft and 16 ft ceilings to use. We've got exposed brick, textured walls, vintage doors and even a garden deck with access to the outdoor space for you to work in. Built in 1921 we still have the original remains of the Ironworks which gives the place this charming rustic feel. The open industrial-style layout ideal is for film productions and fashion shoots.
We've had all kinds of photoshoots and films shot here so if you have an idea, please get in touch and we'll see if we can accommodate your shoot or production.
This studio is located within a bigger space which caters to special events and larger film productions. We are located next to the entry way to Crab Park, on the edge of Gastown.

Generally speaking our studios are available from 9am to 5pm, however if you are looking to shoot a bigger project hours can be extended when available. Please note that additional charges will apply.

Our rates apply to standard photoshoots. Please note that larger editorial, video shoots and commercial projects may incur additional costs.
Production involving recording sound may incur a higher cost due to the building accommodating your sound requirements.

We provide a 15 minute grace period when starting/ending your rental. Failure to vacate the studio by the scheduled end time will result in an overtime charge of $75/hour or part thereof.

An incredible space, better than you could imagine. Cal was very accommodating and generous. Highly recommend this studio. We are looking forward to booking again!

The venue is super unique and created a great experience for a course we were running. Cal went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was a great communicator. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for something unique and different. Location was very central and easy for our participants to find. The courtyard and open deck area was also a huge bonus for us to enjoy the hot weather.
