About the Space
This is an interesting space for Portland. The street and the types of construction on the street could pass as New York City at times. From the street is a set of concrete stairs that lead to the entrance of the house. Once you're inside there is a family room before a half flight of stairs to a dining area and then another half flight of stairs that leads to a kitchen. With the shutter blinds open, you can see into the street even in the kitchen. It creates beautiful shots with a lot of depth.
