Located on scenic Lakeshore Drive, the International Museum of Surgical Science is housed in a renovated mansion. Built in 1917, the museum was modeled after one of Marie Antoinette's chateus in Versailles. The mansion was renovated in 1953, and reopened as the museum in 1954. With four floors and a variety of aesthetics, ranging from white washed walls and marble floors to a beautiful wood library, our museum can fit any of your filming needs!
