About the Space

Complete self-service! Two massive windows facing South, 900sqf, 14ft ceilings You will be provided with 2 access codes that will allow you to gain access to the studio. The first code will allow you to gain entry into the building. The second code will allow you to gain entry into the studio space and will only work during your scheduled booking times. Also after booking you will get 2 video instructions - How to get in building and find studio space - How to use equipment 900sqf Windows facing SOUTH, direct sunlight during all day. CYC wall 16ft wide You can also use shared kitchen next to the studio door - 1 x Neewer trigger (Canon/Nikon/Sony) - 2 x Profoto D500 AIR Strobes - 2 x Arri light stands - 2 x Portable Rectangular Softbox 23.6" X 35.4" - 1 x 55" Octagon - 3 x C-Stand - 4 x sandbags Furniture: - Steamer - Clothing rack - Hangers - We have only two tables as in the photos: one make up table and one modern dining table - Blackout curtains - Furniture that you see in the pictures Fee for a fresh painted CYC wall $100 🎤 I can't guarantee that you will record clear audio in this space. Studio Is not sound proof and is located near CTA subway green line. Usually It's pretty quiet in this studio, but you can hear train every 20 min. Sometimes you can hear my neighbors in the hallway. Fee for Over 15 Attendees +$20/person

    For my first time using Giggster, it couldnt have gone any better. Mikalai was very helpful before, during, and after i had rented the space for a photoshoot/proposal. Detailed instructions and even videos were provided on how to get in the lot and building. He was super easy to work with and answered all my questions prior to booking.

    4 important points to mention. 1. This is right by a train track and any video or audio recording in the space will definitely be interrupted by the loud noise of the train. 2. From 1 to 3pm it was very hot in the room even with the air conditioning on. 3. Some of the curtain rods were broken and taped up so that it is not possible to cover the windows. This caused problems with slots of string sunlight limiting the space we had to record video. 4. There is a rule that you cannot move the couch or you will be charged. I don't understand why but it limited the options and space that we had to record video. Besides these 4 issues listed it was a great place to work and record video. The curtains not being able to cover or block out the windows was by far the biggest issue that caused problems we had to spend significant time working around.
