If you need a coffee shop for your project, this one is absolutely one of the best spots – big open space, great decor, lots of natural light, and high ceilings that make lighting much easier. The host Chris was super friendly and responsive and made the whole experience easy. 10/10 would recommend this spot and we hope to film here again soon.

This location is so cute and cozy great for baby showers. I met the host and she was so nice and welcoming. Overall this is a great location and I for sure will find other events to have just so I can have them at this location 5 stars all the way around. I’ll also let other people know about this cute & cozy home.

What an awesome location! We will definitely be coming back. I'm not sure how it's possible, but the space feels even bigger than we were expecting based on the photos. The owners were fantastic to work with and I'm not sure what could have made it any better. Until next time! :-)

This studio space had a lot more to offer than what we expected. In our case we were there for a video shoot and originally we just needed a space to set up a backdrop and shoot in front of. But once we toured the studio, we realized there were so many different ideas that we can come up with on the spot. It was the perfect place to improvise while also getting done what we originally had in mind. Would definitely recommend.

Great space. Alan was nice and easy to work with. I was running a bit late, but he was super understanding. The space was the perfect size to use a car. Good lighting and quiet. Thanks Al!

Advantages

  • The sun is always shining

  • The arts

  • Architecture

Disadvantages

  • Show me the money

  • The heat index
An outdoor video shoot in the summer will be a challenge in Oakland, CA because of the heat index. The climate is generally moderate, sunny, and arid throughout the summer months, and July, August, and September are some of the best weather months in the city. But, when the temperature spikes – and it has gone as high as 109 degrees Fahrenheit in the past – it can be an uncomfortable place to work.

  • Congestion
The infrastructure in Oakland is well developed, but unfortunately, it is also over capacity at many points throughout the day. Expect travel to take just a little bit longer in Oakland, CA as everyone else tries to get to their next location too.
