Our studio reserves the right to set prices at its discretion. Paper background rolls are NOT included -- details below.
Owned and operated by your host, Topher Scott, this downtown Manhattan studio offers commercial rental space for photo and video productions. Included in the hourly rental fee is a quality selection of professional lighting and grip equipment.
The studio is sectioned into a large open loft production space, a private in-studio bathroom, and equipment room (staff access only). The space has dedicated heat and air conditioning.
Located at the intersection of Grand and Allen in the Lower East Side, the studio is easily accessible by subway or car. Street parking is available; alternately, there is a parking garage a half-block away. The space is located on third floor of a walk-up commercial building (no elevator). The walls and floors are painted/touched-up twice every month, that said we do appreciate your help in keeping the walls and floors in good condition -- please be cautious. This beautiful pre-war machine shop in the heart of Williamsburg showcases 1920s’ chic decor, exposed brick and soaring ceilings. This listing is for the entire building, which includes the first floor gallery, second floor vintage loft, and roof deck. The building can host up to 74 guests. The loft visually immerses you in nostalgia with its vintage furniture and classic speakeasy vibe. The lovingly renovated interior of original wood and reclaimed metal, with 13-ft ceilings and custom art pieces make a stunning, camera-ready setting for film, photoshoots, or special events. A 30-person capacity private roof deck opens up to the beautiful city skyline. The street-level gallery offers a crisp white-brick gallery space with neutral gray concrete floors and walls stretching 15 ft in height — ready to display art or host modern vows. Our Williamsburg location is ideal for pop-ups, sample sales, holding, or private openings. Our flexible space can host your conference, launch party, film or photoshoot, wedding or reception. First floor: 1,500 sf. white-brick walled gallery, with 15' ceilings, 13' drive-in garage, concrete floors and gallery lighting.
Second floor: 1,800 sf. white-brick wall hand-built loft with sound system, bar setup and DJ lighting. Public bathroom with 3 stalls, 2 urinals.
Roof: the decked area has a 30 person capacity. Productions may shoot beyond decked area by submitting a protection plan to protect surface and ensures crew safety. Renters will be responsible for any damage to the roof outside of the roof deck.

ROOF ACCESS FOR PRODUCTION
Under no circumstances are guests, equipment, or staff allowed anywhere off the wooden roof deck. Exceptions can be made for shoots. Productions may shoot beyond decked roof area by submitting a protection plan to protect surface and ensures crew safety. Plan must be submitted and approved with management one (1) week before the rental. Renters will be responsible for any damage to the roof outside of the deck.
Roof deck has a capacity of 30 persons.
We will make our best attempt to return any lost items. However, we are not responsible for any property left behind after your rental. Ensure you and your guests remove everything before leaving the building, we have cleaners who will remove unidentified items from the building without consultation. We suggest retrieving left items within 24 hours of event.

Very cool, vibey rock space in the heart of Hell's Kitchen... use for small event/party, photo shoot, pop up, gallery, client meetings, biz event, etc. The space is located in the world famous “Music Building”, former musical home of Madonna, Blondie, Billy Idol, Interpol and Metallica to name a few. The soundproofed space was used as a Rock Music School since 2009, so it has memorabilia, posters, X-Mas lights as the main lighting, no windows, and the lived-in authentic feel of an old school NYC Rock club. Before that, the space was the practice space for the band The Strokes, and dating back to the 80's it was a jam room for the whole building, where the likes of Peter Tosh and Keith Richards jammed. So there is a lot of good Rock mojo in the space. The main room is 400 square feet, but there are two small "lobby" areas, with couches/chairs for additional seating.

Our space is sure to be the best location for your next production. The studio space is made up of a 525 square foot opened floor plan with huge windows and tons of natural light. We are located on a third-floor walk-up that overlooks Brooklyn in all its glory.
We strive to make your booking with us as easy and as simple as possible. This is why we operate on a self-service dynamic. You are given your own access code to enter the studio, where you are free to use it and operate it as if it were your own.
The day before your booking you will be provided with 2 access codes that will allow you to gain access into the facility. The first code will allow you to gain entry into the building. The second code will allow you to gain entry into the studio space and will only work during your scheduled booking times.

BACKDROP SEAMLESS PAPER:
For an additional $25.00 added to your booking fee, you can use any backdrop paper in the studio.
We keep the white and black seamless paper in stock at all times. We typically have other colors as well. Please request before your booking date to check on the availability of selected colors.
If we do not have a specific color in stock we can order it for you and have it delivered to the studio. We charge for the cost of the paper and delivery fee. The paper will be yours to keeps. If you decide to leave the roll with us we will charge you for only half of the cost-plus delivery fee. You are more than welcome to bring and use your own background paper.
SET UP & BREAK DOWN:
Please keep in mind that set up and break downtimes are to be included in your scheduled booking time. We do provide a 10 minute grace period at the end of your booking. If you overstay your end time after 10 minutes you will be charged a half-hour rate.
We have a cleaning service that comes in to sweep, mop and put everything back in its place after each booking.
This does not mean you do not have to clean up after yourself. Please tidy up before leaving. Put everything that you do not want and are not taking back with you into garbage bags. i.e. balloons, props, confetti, drinks or anything you might have placed in the fridge.
Liquids – please dispose of all liquids into the sink before placing the item into a garbage bag. Please note that the water cooler is not a drain. Please do not dispose of any liquids in the water cooler.
If you do not follow proper cleaning protocol you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $30.00
Please keep in mind that our studio floors are white and attract dirt and stains fairly easily. We ask that you remove your shoes or put on shoe covers provided prior to entering the studio. Please keep feet off the walls as well.
We want to preserve the floors and walls to avoid repainting. In the event that we have to repaint due to your event or production, an extra fee of $45.00 will be charged towards your booking. We thank you in advance for your consideration.
