Our unique rental spaces feature a 260-seat auditorium, a spacious reception room and foyer with views of a sculpture garden and waterfall, and an intimate meeting room and atrium situated on the second floor. Availability varies depending on the space. There is a cost of $90 per hour to open the building beyond normal business hours (8:30 am - 5:30 pm, M-F) in addition to rental fees. Hiring our in-house AV technician(s) is required for use of the Auditorium, at a rate of $50 per hour per tech. Unfortunately we cannot rent to private individuals, only to organizations (corporate, non-profit, government, etc.).

The Reception Room is a versatile venue appropriate for both corporate events and more social occasions. The room’s floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows open onto Japan Society’s serene waterfall, pond and sculpture garden; the room can also be used in conjunction with the adjacent Main Foyer to enlarge and enhance the space, accommodating up to 250 guests for reception events and 100 people for seated events, such as a dinner or lecture (15 for distanced capacity).
