Our 600 sqft studio in Midtown Manhattan is perfect for your next photo or video shoot! The studio is filled with daylight and comes with lighting equipment included in the price and a wide choice of seamless backgrounds! This is Studio B, on the 20th floor at 580 8th Ave. The studio is steps away from A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W, 7 & S trains and 1 block from Port Authority. NATURAL LIGHT: Studio has large windows facing south, with even daylight most of the day and occasional pockets of sun. We will greet you on your arrival to and make sure that you are well settled in the space and have what you need. Comes with all the standard equipment and fixtures you need to have an amazing production with your crew, including one Flashpoint Rapid 400 strobe (a strobe, not a continuous/video light) with softbox and transmitter. We typically respond within an hour, can show you the space if you would like to see it before booking and remain in touch to help answer any last minute questions. BACKDROP: We offer 6 stocked seamless paper colors (Black, Super White, Stone Grey, Thunder Grey, Bone, Cocoa) and charge $30.00 per seamless pull. Need another color? Let us know 72 hrs in advance, and we will stock it for you for $110. ADD-ONS: See the add-ons menu for our full equipment rental lineup - seamless backdrop pulls, video lights, audio kits, camera kits, Profoto strobes, and setup assistance. **PLEASE NOTE** - To keep the studio affordable for our clients, we don't charge a standard cleaning fee. Therefore, we request our clients to upkeep the space and leave it in the way it was presented to them at the starting of their session. If the space is left unclean or disorganized, we will need to charge you a cleaning fee of $35. - Please cut dirty paper and put things back where you saw them. Bring trash out to the larger bins in the hallway. - Building entry: look up "Centra Studios" on the door panel - there are no buzzer numbers. Doormen are on duty weekdays 8 AM - 6 PM only; no doormen on weekends. - The freight elevator is available weekdays 8 AM - 6 PM only. - Please note: security cameras are in use in the studio. - We're in Midtown Manhattan - there's no easy parking. Management is great, Tony is very helpful and makes it a pleasant experience. The space is very clean and comes with plenty of equipment (if needed). It looks exactly as advertised and would definitely recommend to other creatives!
I have shot in these studios several times and the studios have worked out very well and the managers have been helpful in all cases.
The space is well kept and clean. The studio managers are very helpful and accommodating. We had a great experience at the studio and there is great afternoon light as a bonus.

The team were super friendly and informative . They worked with my needs and made themselves available as need be. The space was as promised and more. Very happy with my choice and plan on returning again soon ! If you need a studio for photoshoots or any sort of project i would whole heartedly recommend this space !
