Looking for a clean, large and professional space in Manhattan for your next photo or video shoot? Our 1000sqft, fully equipped studio in Midtown Manhattan might be a perfect fit! The studio is filled with daylight throughout the day and comes with lighting equipment included in the price and a wide choice of seamless backgrounds! And, the studio has clear direct views of Empire State Building - for your out of town crew and clients. This is Studio D, on the 21st floor (to the left) at 580 8th Ave. LOCATION: Studio is located at 580 8th Ave., steps away from A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W, 7 & S trains and 1 block from Port Authority. Elevator building - so no climbing up the stairs with your equipment! NATURAL LIGHT: Studio has large windows facing east, with the best light in the morning. FURNITURE: You can use all the furniture that's in the studio. EQP: Comes with all the standard equipment you need to have an amazing production with your crew, including one Flashpoint Rapid 400 strobe (a strobe, not a continuous/video light) with softbox, and transmitter for Nikon, Canon and Sony. We have a bunch of continuous lights as well, please let us know in the booking request if you need one (with additional fee). See the complete list below! BACKDROP CHOICES: We offer 6 stocked seamless paper colors (Black, Super White, Stone Grey, Thunder Grey, Bone, Cocoa) and charge $30.00 per seamless pull. Need another color? Let us know 72 hrs in advance, and we will stock it for you for $110. Check the colors below! We also have dark green and grey fabric backdrops, and a green screen backdrop. ADD-ONS: See the add-ons menu for our full equipment rental lineup - seamless backdrop pulls, video lights, audio kits, camera kits, Profoto strobes, and setup assistance. ON-SITE HELP: You will be greeted by our studio coordinator when you arrive. Backdrop setup assistance is available as an add-on ($25 per backdrop). *PLEASE NOTE* - To keep the studio affordable for our clients, we don't charge a standard cleaning fee. So, please upkeep the space and leave it in the way it was presented. If the space is left unclean or disorganized, we will need to charge you a cleaning fee of $35. - Please cut dirty paper and put things back where you saw them. Bring trash out to the larger bins in the hallway. - Building entry: look up "Centra Studios" on the door panel - there are no buzzer numbers. Doormen are on duty weekdays 8 AM - 6 PM only (no doormen on weekends); the freight elevator is also available weekdays 8 AM - 6 PM only. - Please note: security cameras are in use in the studio. - We're in Midtown Manhattan - there's no easy parking. Street parking is occasionally available and parking garages are nearby.
