A captivating space. Jenna was not only an exceptional host, but also quick and clear in her communication. Filming in this loft felt like stumbling upon a hidden gem; the photos enticed us, yet the reality was even more striking. Tailored for a skeleton crew, the space balances intimacy and expansiveness. The lighting—meticulously calibrated—elevates the loft's innate charisma. We look forward to another collaboration with Jenna and a return to this remarkable location.

Sho was a great host. He tried to make sure we were accommodated. My only issue was that the air did not work. We were filming so it got quite hot in there. Otherwise, it fit for what we needed it for. We most likely will use it again.

Great place to shoot for an office scene! It's very spacious, and my crew was easily able to maneuver around the area. There were also plenty of great amenities add it to it such as chairs and tables, and the host was very open about moving things around, which was certainly a necessity for our shoot. It's also for cheaper than any of the other office locations I could fine, and the host was fine charging me a normal rate for the overtime. It was also perfectly quiet on the inside, which was great for sound! I would highly recommend this place if you're an independent filmmaker looking for an office location that won't break the bank!

Wonderful, bright location. Wish the stone grotto was still there but was very grateful for the air conditioning and clean bathrooms. On-site manager was there for everything we needed.

This is a big city with some serious southern charm. The parks are unlike any others, and they are located right in the city. You can get out in nature, take in some popular attractions, enjoy some amazing history, and dine at some of the best restaurants in the country here. That is why an Atlanta film shoot location is such a great idea.

  • Actors
When filming any type of production, you certainly need the right actors to pull it all together. You can tap into some local organizations if the film production is on a smaller scale. If bigger then you can go through a talent agency or something more along those lines.

  • Scenery or Props
Most films will need the right scenery, and this is important to think through. You may need props too and finding a company that can offer both is ideal. The scenery though is best left to the experts as they can customize and create what you really want.

Pros and Cons of Film Shoots In Atlanta

If you are going to produce a film in Atlanta, no matter how big or small, you want to think through a few things. There are some excellent advantages to filming in Atlanta, but there are a few disadvantages that you really want to think through as well.

Advantages

  • Historical attractions
There are so many wonderful historical attractions that you can take in and enjoy here. You can learn about a variety of different cultures, art, and modern history.

  • Family-friendly
There are many different activities and attractions for families, particularly with younger children. This makes it a fantastic place for a film shoot location in Atlanta that features families.

  • Nice southern vibe
Though Atlanta is a big city, it has a special southern vibe about it. The hospitality, the people, and the overall feel of this city are all that you would expect in the south.

Disadvantages

  • High crime rate
Though it’s not a big city with the highest rankings in the country, the crime rate is still an issue here. You do want to be mindful of this and focus on safety first.

  • Pollen is awful
This might not sound like a big deal, but it’s awful. You can actually see the pollen built up on cars and anything outside to the point that it is visible.

  • Things are slow
What this means is that the overall pace of Atlanta can be a bit slower than other big cities. There isn’t necessarily the sense of urgency that you experience elsewhere, and for some, this can be frustrating.

Famous Locations in Atlanta
