About the Space

Our space is a community arts, education and environmental resource center and full-service professional office building offering long term office leases; short term space rentals for classes, meetings and events; and dance and theatre classes The Historic Y Courtyard is located off University Boulevard, with the Tucson Audubon Society and Nature Shop to the west and The Rogue Theatre to the east. Sheltered from the street by the stately and colorful edifices and arcades of The Historic Y, this wonderful urban retreat is paved with flagstone, is comfortably shaded by citrus and palo verde trees, and features beautifully tiled patio tables, benches and planters. Tucson CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) holds its produce pick-ups in the Courtyard on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and The Rogue Theatre uses the Courtyard before shows and during intermissions. The Historic Y Courtyard is also the location for several annual events, such as The Historic Y Gathering of Friends held each December, the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation Volunteer Appreciation Dinner . The Courtyard can be rented on an hourly basis and provides a beautiful outdoor urban setting for a wide range of gathering and events, including birthday, holiday and graduation parties, proms, showers, fundraisers, political events, receptions, ceremonies, dinners, banquets, music events and performances. The Courtyard and other adjoining areas are handicapped accessible. Please note that non-profits are eligible for 20% (and in some cases more) discount.
