We used this location for my first video shoot. As far as booking, Lauren responds promptly and is easy to work with. The manager was present during the shoot and away from the set. He was very accommodating and friendly. The bar was super clean and very beautiful. My participants for the video were WOWed. The rooms had different themes, so it looked as if I was at more than one place, especially since I changed my outfit. I really liked this place and my husband said he'll take me back there for some drinks when I get my Masters degree. I'm so excited!

Pros and Cons of Small Parties in New York

Parties in New York City can be a great way to spend an evening, whether you are looking for something low-key and intimate or a wild night out. Small parties offer many advantages and drawbacks over larger gatherings, and it is important to consider both when deciding whether to attend one.

Advantages

  • Hosting or attending a small party allows you to customize the event in ways that may not possible at larger events. Whether looking for an elegant dinner party or a wild bash, it's easy to tailor your small gathering to fit your needs.

  • With only a few people present, creating meaningful relationships with the other attendees is easier.

  • Hosting a small party is often cheaper than having one with many people; there is less food to purchase, fewer decorations needed, and fewer drinks to buy.

  • Because only specific individuals are invited, hosts can choose who they want in attendance so that everyone feels comfortable and has an enjoyable time together.

Disadvantages

  • Events with fewer guests will lack the expansive reach possible from more significant events.

  • Compared to larger parties, smaller events have limited impact on their immediate environment or beyond as they tend not to draw much (if any) attention from outside sources such as reporters or bloggers who may otherwise document events featuring dozens or more people.

  • Finding suitable venues can be difficult due to limitations imposed by many spaces regarding maximum occupancy limits or minimum purchase requirements for rentals/events booked through them directly.

Tips on How to Organize Small Parties in New York

The hustle and bustle of the Big Apple make it a great place to celebrate special occasions with friends and family. From finding the ideal venue to creating delicious menus, plenty of steps need to be taken to ensure your party is one to remember! To help you out, here are some tips on how to organize small parties in New York:

  • Begin by finding an appropriate venue for your gathering: Make sure that it provides enough space for your guests and has the amenities you will need for your event.

  • Prepare the perfect menu to wow your guests: Consider their preferred palates when crafting dishes and drinks, ranging from traditional American eats like burgers and hot dogs to international cuisines such as Italian or Mexican fare.

  • Think carefully about decorations and themes: Try sourcing exciting items from local stores or websites like Etsy, or if you prefer more natural décor use items like balloons, streamers, flowers, etc., available at any nearby supermarket.

  • Get creative with entertainment: Depending on the type of event you’re hosting, consider asking talented family members or friends to perform musical numbers or comedic acts while providing exciting activities throughout the night, such as trivia games or photo booths with props.

  • Don't forget about clean-up duties afterward: Work together with your helpers so that everything is cleared away quickly and adequately before leaving the premises – this way, you won't be left dealing with a significant mess after celebrating an otherwise successful gathering.
